What a drag that Jonathan had to leave like he did. And contrast that with Chet begging to go because his foot hurt.
Jonathan's mishap reminded me of an earlier season when Michael (?) passed out from inhaling smoke from a fire he had built, and fell into the fire, severely burning himself. Both guys were doing well in the game too.
I am glad that Ozzy wasn't blindsided. He is a good competitor and interesting contestant. Chet contributed nothing to the show.

Well I was right. I figured John was going to have to leave. Chet is a waste...how could he not stay one more round to help out the one person who stuck by him, and kept him around.

Yes Scifi, you called it last week. Have I told you lately how irritating it is that you are so often right about such things? *L*

I agree, Chett should have stayed to help his friends. For the life of me I could not see what was so bad about his boo-boo, especially compared to Johnathon's infected leg. He proved in his final act that he was a shitty player and deserving to be gone from the game. I am going to miss Johnathon, though. What did you think of James and his powering through the immunity challenge? I was laughing my ass off.

I was sure that Ozzy was going to be the latest back door victim, but the tribe came to it's senses and knocked out Tracy instead.
Kathy bailing was pretty lame. The chance of being chosen to be on Survivor is so small, why would you give up after all that? I'll bet that just annoyed Jonothan to no end.

I'm glad Ozzie is still in there; he's one of the best to ever play.

Well it looks like the merge will be happening next week. James and Ozzy better be ready to win immunity regularly, because they will have the biggest targets on their backs. Of course Ozzy has the immunity idol. But knowing when to play it is key. Just ask James. Lol.

I was amazed by the vote yesterday. I was certain Erik was going home. I think I must have missed something somewhere. I am glad he is in it, but I am uncertain how much longer he will be around.

Is it just me, or are they making the challenges goofy-crazy dangerous?

Mmm. give me one of those bat wings. Lol.
That was classic seeing Eliza playing the bogus imuunity idol.
Now that the merge has happened and the lines between faves and fans is blurred, Ozzie and James are the biggest targets. Nobody wants to go against them.

Go to cbs.com/ponderosa and you can see clips of Eliza at the house where the jury members stay during the game.

Ozzy gets played! It seems like the immunity idol is becoming a curse. He and James have a huge target on their backs. He got too comfortable and trusting. He should have known better.

Lol. This is getting ridiculous. The immunity idol curse strikes again. The women are being so devious. I don't think James or Erik will be around much longer. Then it will be a catfight.

Unfortunately, I don't really care for many of the women left.

Pavarti is the best eye candy but has no personality to speak of.

I do like Cerie, aside from the fact that because she isn't athletic she always manages to force out the more physically dynamic players. She is an amazing strategist though.

When James is gone I might stop watching, I'm getting bored of the estrogen-fest.

Well, James is gone. It's too bad an injury did him in. The girls probably would have got rid of him next anyway though.
Amanda played the idol perfectly. That was great. The only way that it would have been better is if Natalie would have gone instead of Alexis.

Congratulations to Erik! He is now the contestant who has made the stupidest move in Survivor history. Lol. I still cannot believe that he fell for the girl's evil plan, hook, line and sinker. He was dominating the challenges, and probably would have made it to the final two. What a bonehead!

The funniest thing about the Eric episode, to me, is that they showed all the votes before the reveal. There was just so little doubt about it, the producers realised there was no point in prolonging the suspense.

James' comment cracked me up.

One thing I will say in Eric's defense: he's a 20 year old boy with little life experience ... surrounded by four women a lot more sophisticated than he is ... three of which are very attractive and one old enough to be his mother ... the dude really didn't have a chance.

"a life lesson" Jeff Probst is priceless sometimes

I have to say, I am shocked. I never would have believed that Parvoti would beat Amanda and win Survivor. I still think Amanda played a better game, but obviously the jury disagrees. Maybe Amanda should have taken Cerie to the final two instead. Oh well.
This season was one of the best in my opinion.
We also got a female version of Richard Hatch in Natalie. What a psycho she is. Lol.
