What you think how many profilles on this site is fake? I mean sometimes mans pretending womans, lesbian or other for joke or other reasons.

Hide them and move on. They are either fairly easy to spot, or are fairly obvious after a little bit of communication. How many "doms" out there are the same way, or just looking for an easy screw?

Eh, I'm sure there are some, but they are a small percentage. I think most people who take the time to make a profile, personalize it, and clearly state what they want and dont want... then it's real. Sometimes you can tell what's fake by length, usually the shorter it is, the more genereal/unoriginal it is. Thereby more likely to be fake. Not saying short profiles are instant fakes, but it's jsut a warning sign to look out for.

Every so often I come upon a profile that screams fake all over it. Such as somebody being 5'10" and weighs around 57-80 lbs. Generally, these profiles read very generic and more like something you'd find on a vanilla dating site as well. By and far, there are more real profiles compared to fake ones though. If I read a profile and it looks believable, I don't try to question it too much even if it seems rather off the wall. I myself have had a very long written profile and also have had little next to nothing on it. Hell, I just recently deleted my profile because I did not have anything on it. Except looking for Friends only. But in the past, I have had my picture up, a long written profile and journal entries even. Crap, I should go back and activate my profile again. I just remembered that some people pull up my profile and click on the link to my message board postings.

I think there are fake profiles on this site because there's a large percentage of people online overall who aren't what they say. Nothing more, nothing less, and certainly no more personal than that. It's not worth getting irritated about.

Oh hell, I just write people with fake profiles these long winded dirty nasty emails detailing how I want to use them. It generally scares them away from coming back to the site. LOL...

As long as you care, you're going to have a hard time meeting people in real life. It is a lot more attractive to focus on things you can control than to bitch about things you can't. Not very Domly to constantly complain about how impotent you are. Know what I mean?

And, Tatrix, LOL is an internet abbreviation for "laughing out loud." I know you've never seen it before, so I'm explaining it to you. People usually "laugh" after telling or hearing a "joke." A "joke" is a combination of words intended to produce "humor." "Humor" is a form of communication that is not "serious." Seriously.

Brilliant advice! Just read a profile and look at the pictures with common sense and not out of skepticism or blind wishful thinking. That picture of a woman in a bikini with perfect hair, make up, lighting and not in a natural setting just might be a fake. ;) The one paragraph profile where they go no rights and no limits might be a clue as well. ;) Personally I think the best way to read a profile, especially if you are one to get frustrated easily, is to read it for the person be grounded in reality, positive not jaded, effort and appear truly open in their heart and mind to find someone and not what looks like just a nice daydream or clearly thinks everyone that writes them is guilty until proven otherwise. Write with more effort to less people then trying a mass market campaign or you never know type attitude.

No idea. With this being the internet. I imagine the percentage is high. It doesn't affect me either way.
