When people start quoting Kenny Rogers isn't it per se a time to run?

I don’t think there is any etiquette for posting on the message boards. I would hate to be in a position where I worried that some prick might get upset and so second guess what I write. Besides many people get upset over the smallest of things and I really think that if someone wants to find malice in what you write they will do. I would even go so far as to say some people wake up in the morning and think “How can I be offended today?”  For those that say lurk to find out what regulars like and don’t like, I say who cares what anyone likes or don’t like? Sorry but is this a members only club and you can write only if you don’t upset popular idiots?

In that case, the best piece of advice I can give to Dalia is to lurk on the boards for a while and read, read, read!!!

But if that's not her style and she would rather become well known quickly, she could just start a thread asking why there are so many fat subs.

How about how to do some of the stuff...

The emoticons are obvious... but *and I wonder this, too - shameless need for info at the moment.

How do you  find out if someone has responded to your post?
How do you find out if there is a new post (not to your post but to another)?
How do you find out if there's a new thread created?
etc.
