This is exactly the type of thing that I *don't* want my govt doing. (Besides invading foreign countries)
The last sentance in this article is particularly onerous.
We have 48 million people in this country with no healthcare whatsoever and this guy wants to give a total healthcare package to these people using our money?
And already they're saying that $30 Billion is "not enough."
We can't afford to be doing this kind of thing!
Again, the people in Washington are supposed to be running our govt. not a charity for foreign countries!
Evidently this is "Bush's baby."
I thought Bush's baby" was Iraq.?
What do these people propose that we do, borrow MORE money from the Chinese to pay for this stuff and hand the bill to the 48 million who don't have healthcare for themselves?
Boy, it's easy to be "generous" with Taxpayer Dollars isn't it?
Time to get on the phone to our Congressman and Senators and tell them "NO!"
