ORIGINAL: DesFIP Yes, because all I can think of afterwards is how cold I am. And anybody who decided I should stay in ice cold water for an hour had better be watching with the phone in his hand ready to call 911 when hypothermia sets in. Of course if I didn't survive it, he had better be ready to submit to Bubba for the next 7-10 years for homicide. The water in the bathtub doesn't start out cold. It's supposed to start out as hot as I can stand it, in fact. I haven't timed out the cooling process, but I would imagine that I'd be sitting in water that feels cold for no longer than 15-20 minutes. I also say "feels" because it's in comparison to hot water at the beginning. I quite agree, something like this should be undertaken only under proper supervision and with full awareness of the risks involved. lil Aidan
