From the principal that the core takes in all the heat and the peripheries shut down, so, the penis should shut down, but then we are discussing this on a site where people are not of the average except to the other people on the site.

Yes, because all I can think of afterwards is how cold I am.

And anybody who decided I should stay in ice cold water for an hour had better be watching with the phone in his hand ready to call 911 when hypothermia sets in. Of course if I didn't survive it, he had better be ready to submit to Bubba for the next 7-10 years for homicide.

Celeste, I am SO glad that I wasn't the only one who had that thought in mind.....

Cold showers???? Heck, here in AZ, that's how we know winter is coming...we can finally GET cold water out of the pipes! I haven't used hot water in the shower since I moved into this place!

The water in the bathtub doesn't start out cold. It's supposed to start out as hot as I can stand it, in fact. I haven't timed out the cooling process, but I would imagine that I'd be sitting in water that feels cold for no longer than 15-20 minutes. I also say "feels" because it's in comparison to hot water at the beginning.

I quite agree, something like this should be undertaken only under proper supervision and with full awareness of the risks involved.
