Is small and delicate and barely larger than the fingernail on my left hand. Tonight she was almost lost. But, I saw her tonight for the first time and she has a heartbeat she is only 5 weeks and six days old she has a long way to go and a lot of growing to do before I can hold her and kiss her and love her. She is a part of me and a part of them. She will be loved and cherished and she will make me proud to be called "grandma."

Thanks, bunny
Still in shock, and Friday was a rough night -- I hate emergency rooms - but the baby is fine, and it was indescribable seeing that little peanut on the ultrasound, and seeing her little heart beating. My daughter is scared, but she and her b/f really want this baby, and I've chosen to put my feelings aside about their circumstance, and just embrace being a grandma.

Thank you, Katy -- me too! She is feeling good, she hasn't had much morning sickness, but her attitude towards that baby's daddy has me a little concerned. I'm also waiting for her to inform her grandparents about the little one on the way, and I'm fearful they may find out from a third party. I would do it, but I figured it's her responsibility to spill the beans about the peanut!
Other than that, things are well, and I am getting very excited about becoming a grandma!
