This new feature on collarme is fun, but often quit depressing reading material.

I am a 23 year lesbian, and according to the "who's viewing me" there hasn't been a female looker on my profile in days/weeks...

In fact, the last 3 or 4 people checking me out are men in their 70's ...

Is it just me, or is that sort of depressing?

At least you're getting viewed!  Think how much worse it would be if nobody looked :)

Well here is My experience---I find that when I am posting, I see people look --who are in the thread, so we end up playing--"ooh you peeked, I can too"

Or the ones who write to Me, 99% have not viewed Me, go figure.

Yes, agreed, it can be quite disappointing to see the "whos viewing me" lit up with red letters, start to get excited that maybe the one you have really been interested in talking to has viewed your profile, and when the page opens, it turns out to be someone totally opposite of what you are looking for ( dom instead of sub for example, or the wrong gender which we can fully relate to ).

I like it ... is very useful because i check my inbox against who viewed me ...

I dont find mine depressing ... though there is occassionally a sense of .... how did you read my profile ... and then think *that* email would work for me!

thats when i realise ... they are just looking at the pictures

People who check your profile don't necessarily mean they are interested in you in a personal way. It may only be a curiosity thing. Sheesh. If I ever check the profile of a male Dom, please don't think it means something. Sheesh, again.

I guess I can agree, thinking sometimes I write someone without opening up their full profile, maybe it's to short to need to open..

Because I guess it only shows who as opened it up properly?

I do need to post more I've realised. I'm more of a reader, not writer, as it seems my glorious ideas of what to say, just never translates to the screen the way I imagined, and I end up thinking good long reply, but writing stupid short reply...

What's that saying, why open your mouth and let people know your an idiot when you can shut up and pretend your not?

but there I did it again.. verbal diaorhea

Yeah, and I really really really want to, but I'm stopping myself because I'm a het male.  Just yesterday, I told my new gf I was a lesbian in a man's body.  Does that count?

It depends on why they're looking. A picture of a pretty girl gets viewing for no reason but to daydream about you. Frequent posters get viewed because the viewer either agrees with the poster a lot and wants to know more about them, or disagrees with them mostly and wants a reason to put you down in the fora.

The question is, why would anyone give  damn who is looking at your profile, many have looked at mine but I have opinions of my own and how dare a man express an opinion  the internet dommes  neither like or agree with, so they look at my profile to see where such audacity comes from and the number of internet dommes looking at my profile grows daily.
A simple click and they are dismissed.

Lots of people may have looked at you, but will not show up unless they view your full profile.

~fast reply~
i perv profiles all the time for no other reason that curiosity.  Might be people i see on the boards, might be someone whose profile flashes across my home page.  Looking at others is natural, i indulge in looking as often as i can.  Very few of those people do i contact, and hopefully that does not create bad feelings, but i equate it with looking at people on the street.  Not likely that i am going to walk up to each and every person i look at and introduce myself.  Why should that be different here?
