A plastic lighter with metal around the top part is more likely to set them off. And THAT I have been busted for. *chuckle*
i had curved barbells in my nipples and that set them off...wasnt wearing any other metal at the time (not even underwires) so i know that was what did it. embarassed the poor girl doing the wanding more than it did me!

SO Wierd / funny!!! I have TONS of metal in me.......... None ever set the detectors off............ have been on a few flights........... maybe its just were I live and how "sensitive" the detectors are????

this was just after they stopped letting just anyone go to the gates at the airport....i accompanyed my son down because he was traveling alone, and the walk-through thing buzzzed, i knew immediately before i was wanded what the issue was. i was cracking up, though.
