considering that the majority of the people who end up on my admirers' list have never actually talked to me, I sometimes think that the name should be changed, how can one admire me if they are basing their judgment on a picture of a handful of words on the page?

Did you think I'd actually start a wanking discussion?

As to the admirerers list? i think some do it as a way to know when you are online, and to quickly access your profile for perving purposes. Who knows, maybe even to stalk all your posts. There could be a myriad number of reasons why they do it.

I think you are over simplifying what the list might be to someone. You have a collar of under consideration maybe just many are waiting to see if you will be back on the market again. Maybe some just bookmark (Which is what the button actually is in practicality) profiles that interests them for whatever reason or maybe someone was surfing the Internet bookmarked profiles and never bothered to look at them again.

There can be many reasons why someone has your profile in their favorites.

I agree - ideally the name should be changed. It is in reality just a bookmark option and that is what I, and I am sure many others, use it for. But I think everyone knows all those names in the list are not really "admirers" so really it doesnt make much difference what tag CM elect to use.

As an aside--- I always thought that was one of the stupidest questions to ask on the phone/internet as if you were to believe my answers, I never wore t-shirts, sweats and hoodies.

The admirer's list is different from "subscribed to journal" list. There are a couple of men on my admirer's list whom I have met and not continued a relationship with. Those I figure have neglected to remove me from their favorites list. (Like anybody but me maintains their favorites list totally up-to-date.) Some of those admirers may be (usually are) out of my geographic area; they may be considering the logistics of a relationship.

Maybe they're just waiting for me to say, "Hey, let's have an online relationship with lots of hot cyber-sex!" Dream on, guys.
