Weirded out is an odd word. He gets concerned about why. If it's just an emotional catharsis from stress and stuff, he checks in with me to see if I'm okay and then continues. If it's an emotional trigger, then it's bad news and play stops while he gets me back to normal which can take quite a while plus leaves me drained for the day. We're not so big on s & m, so I've never cried from deliberately inflicted pain, he uses it to get me to react amusingly - poke, OW!, chuckle, rinse, repeat.

It would depend a lot on the circumstances. If it were during vanilla style sex I would definitely want to know what was going on with her. Weirded out is not the right word at all, but under most circumstances i would be concerned.

I've gone to some pretty interesting places during orgasm. When I cry during those times it doesn't weird him out at all. He knows I'm either experiencing a catharsis or releasing something inside. If I keep crying afterward, he'll ask what's up and then tell me to stop. It's all good.

I try to bring up the crying thing pretty early on. Sometimes intense orgasms bring intense release which means crying. Cali

LOL no problem, Tempting, that's funny. He just knows I communicate better when I can clear my tears and my mind. Otherwise, I just sink into the tears and I'm no good to either of us. But yeah, I can picture that, too. [:D]

It's usually a good idea to mention it just so they know it may be coming. It can be difficult if it comes from out of the blue as people often assume crying means negative emotions. I cry when I have intense orgasms. I will also rarely cry during a scene. It's not because I am sad, it's a form of release and I don't think it's uncommon as you may think OP.

I don't know about anyone else, but I’d be weirded out if there was no emotional response rather then a strong one... edit- emotional

I've never cried due to, or during orgasm itself. I have ended up in a crying state because the intensity of play and activity can pull out stress and anxiety. As long as I can communicate that I'm fine and just letting out some pent up tensions, none of my partners have been weirded out. They're concerned until they know the cause, then they proceed. If it's no big deal for me, it shouldn't be a big deal for them.

{dammit Roy Orbison get out of my head!!!!}i have had crying experiences in the past due to intense mental play mixed with an orgasm, but never by orgasm alone. i think the Dom/Master on the receiving end of such a response takes it as His due, in a way. If They "weirded out"...i'd really have to wonder why.
