I may soon get the opportunity to play with a local Domme who likes to put subs in a smother box.

I've seen these, but have never been in one. From what I can tell, there's not actually a lot of opportunity to perform much in the way of oral worship when you're in it and she has mounted it, because you can't really move and the weight and connection is such that you can't even do much with your jaw, lips, tongue, etc.

From my experience, and my experience only, I have found it to be quite BOTH that is the intrigue. Being forced to perform and, if you are not satisfactory, I shall not let you have your breath. Or, don't take to long at being good, or teasing me, if you want to breathe.

I think a smother box is something i wouldn't mind trying but there are certainly other forms of smothering or taking away a sub's breath.Breast smothering comes to mind as does clamping a hand over the mouth and a little pinching of the nose.The handgag is what sends me...i relish it so.

Anyways...

Smother boxes, the design that is tight fitting is strictly about smothering. If there's no room for oral sex then it does come down to the pressure and smother aspect of it. Becuase those are the things going on. I mean...it's called a smother box...not an oral sex box...that's all I'm sayin. The purpose is in the name of the furniture.

As for other type of smother...I like breath play...all of it...I like choking I like smothering I like drowning...I'm in for the who bang of tricks...and I like doing these things as much as a top and a bottom.

I would be likely to agree with you if it weren't for the fact that the design of the 'smother box' includes a cutout for a woman's ass. My pet peeve about breath control subs is that they generally are facesitting or queening fetishists, and not so much into the aspect of giving up control -- my preferred methods of breath control often have nothing to do with their face and my ass. I feel like "smother box" is just another roundabout way of a sub getting some facesitting action. I'd prefer a "smother box" that had a hole I could cover up with my finger for the same effect - but it's not as erotic for subs.

Just to be clear-- and fair Akasha-- there's no reason people can't engage in both activities if that is what they (and especially the Domme) enjoy.

But the point of the post-- so that it doesn't get lost-- are questions about whether folks have experience with this equipment, what they do with it, and whether and why they like it or dislike it. What I was pointing out is that the design of the box seems to minimize the ability to perform oral worship, and I think what BoiJen is saying that this is an intentional outcome of the design of such boxes.

AimtoPlease That's exactly my point. Now don't get me wrong I'ma fetishist just about everything...not all things...but almost. And not a fetishist in the sense of I need it...I just really really really LIKE it...and these things help me get off.

Ok-- I can now officially report from experience.

The smother box can be used for both oral worship--when the Domme sits forward or lifts up enough to take sufficient pressure off your face so that you can, in fact, use your mouth or tongue-- and for smothering/ breath control-- when the Domme sits back or down and allows her bottom to seal you off and press down on you.

I didn't find that it lacked intimacy at all-- in fact, you're physically connected in a very intimate manner, and Domme absolutely controls the nature of the act by her position and pressure. You have to relax and let go when you're in the box, because you can't do much other than what the Domme allows you to do, and you can't see or hear much of anything, so you're sensations are limited to what you feel and taste.
