Why the hell should making it clear that a sub/slave will tribute you signify they are a pro Domme ? Take a look from the other side of the coin, a) a tribute is not necassarily money it can be gifts...b) far to many subs new and old are just in it for fun, kinky sex or to have a bit on the side to perk up their boring marriage. c) some, and i emphasise some, really are penniless scroungers hoping a Domme will take them on as a live in sub/slave and they can live in for free. Not a chance of that with me, i make it clear that i expect to be tributed, HOW they do that is up to them, i make my requirements VERY clear to help weed out the players/wanabes/fluffies call them what you will, who do not take their submission seriously....many more Dommes and Doms should be more precise in what they require then maybe we will all find who we need faster. How many Doms take on a sub and expect her to buy her own toys,clothes, make the phone calls to him all the time ?? a hell of a lot that i know of from many years in the lifestyle.Does that not make them a pro Dom, surely the sub is tributing him in a way ? Dammit are all men born whingers Dom or not Dom. D4u2W

Professional in this sense means you receive goods or services in exchange for your services. If you get a "gift" in exchange for services that you would not receive if you were not performing those services, you are probably a professional. If you require a "gift" before performing those services you are certainly a professional. I've worked with professional dominants almost all the time I've been in the public end of the scene. By and large, they are good people who give good value for what they get. To me (and to the IRS [grin]), it is whether the professional _receives_ the goods or services or if they are expended on third parties. In a nonsexual context, I used to teach firearms self-defense. The students paid me $20 an hour but were also expected to supply their own firearms (often costing close to $1000) and ammo. Me whinging, certainly not, making comment at those who complain and whinge about the content of a profile, yes. If the profile is approved then the content is fine. I am not ashamed at asking for tributes, and i do believe my profile makes it clear that its NOT in return for sex. To many out there see d/s or bdsm as sex oreintated.Re your fire arms training that is a business and not in the same spectrum. Honesty, openness and communication are key issues and if someone cant uphold those, then yes newbies are open to exploitation, BUT newbies with no fore knowledge of the scene areliable to be exploited from some one who they meet and who injures them much more than from a direct and exact profile that they can choose to ignore surely ? The main gripe to begin with was from a Dom who took exception to the mention of tributes in regard to newbies.

Ithink alot of these doms asking for money upfront are phonies and posers I can understand online training and getting paid for it but just asking for cash to prove if a slave is "worthy" - Get A Job! K

I disagree. I am going to go way out on the limb and counter what I am reading from many of the other dominate women’s post. I believe there are way too many people on collar me seeking $$$$$$. Let me add, I am not a pro-dom. A good pro-dom has probably forgotten more than I currently know in skill level and I openly acknowledge that and respect what they offer. But I don’t believe these men are bitching about true pro’s. They are looking at profiles that don’t mention the person is a pro, and then after contact the person is sticking their greedy hand out. Kiss off, that is wrong. The plethora of pro-doms out there on collarme who are not pro quality is outrageous. When men go to profiles and keep getting hit up by these females wanting their money, they tend to start thinking that most to all of the other dominate women are that way. That kind of situation makes the water murky for the rest of us and waters down the bunch. Yes, I think men have a valid reason to bitch about this and I think I have a valid reason as well. Every pro-dom that puts much thought into it should be pissed along with us. I believe there is a time and place for pro-doms and many men who seek the one or two time play are more suited for the pro-domme to live out their bdsm experience. I also believe the Pro sure the hell should back up what they offer with the skill level, equipment and experience required. If you can’t, then don’t ask men for $ for a service you can’t provide. Geeeeze…. It is that simple
