Status: offline 		I was looking through John’s site (www.lovingdominant.org) yesterday and was especially interested on a link to Shibari. I was fascinated in a section there where Shibari was done with chain. Definitely something I want to look at. Has anyone here used chain in Shibari?

I think its called kusari shibari

Status: offline 		I use chain a great deal of the time
I use it in conjunction with double ended clips. CHain is great as you can make sure its really tight. Lots of chain are a wonderful weight to lay on someone. They are also unbelievably cold!
Nice to tease someone by dragging chains over their body
I also use rope, but to keep tension is always a bit more difficult.
Chain is versatile and doesnt slip. The best thing about it, is when you want to release its 1 second to do

Status: offline 		Chain can be fun. The metal provides an cold absoluteness that seems to work well for some bottoms. I use a 3/16" twist link chain and quick links as well as locks to join it. (all available at your hardware store) The twist link chain greatly reduces the chance of pinching skin between links and forms to the body better. Note: watch out for skin reactions with prolonged contact with the chain.

In answer to the OP, I have not used chain in conjunction with Shibari. But then, I am still trying to get it down with rope. I'm no expert, but I do think it is one of the most beautiful forms of bondage. It never occured to Me that chain would be conducive to Shibari...I want to take a look at that link. (Not the chain link!)
