I remember, I memorized them all. They were one of the only things I was allowed to watch on weekdays (that or Jeopardy). I love all of the old ones (history, science, math, grammar) but the new ones where the voices are all weird and the animation is different I hate. --Yes I'm talking about you "Money Rock"

Oh, Poor alphonzo. He has no idea what he missed out on, lol.

I remember a distinct buildup of anticipation that started every time I heard the School House Rock intro. If the next thing I heard was the first few notes of the Adjectives song, the hair on my neck would stand up a little bit. When the stomp scene finally came around, it would usually send waves of goosepimples all over my body, and maybe a muscle or two would twitch a little bit. For the rest of the song, I would feel all floaty and lightheaded, and maybe just a little bit consoled by the girl's melodic voice.

It's nice to see Easy Reader made something of himself. What all has he been now?  President? God?

He's come a long way from walking into diners and reading the menu out loud for no apparent reason. He's done a lot of voice acting too.

I guess "Readin', Readin'" really was his game.

[:)] Sat. morning cartoons have gotten distinctly less gooder. My kids grew up with such poor quality compared to what they had when I was growing up. When my son was 3, his absolute heroes in life were McGuiver and James Bond. ( I know, he was an odd child). There was a cartoon called 'James Bond, Jr.' It was so bad even my 3 year old son who idolized James Bond wouldn't watch the damn thing. It had like 4 screens per minute, I swear, and even for those, only the parts that 'needed' to move were drawn in, the background was sketchy, and copied from screen to screen.
I am very fond, however, of alternative forms of annimation, like cut paper, or water color - or, well, anything interesting.

You really wouldn't have to change it that much.

"YOW! That's not fair, givin' a guy a shot down there."
Geraldo and Geraldine? Really?
And who hasn't had to use a comma when the feeling wasn't as strong. [&o]

Also, every other word rymes with "erections." It almost writes itself.

That one is my favorite.

In a college-level astronomy course, the professor referred us to the School House Rock "Victim of Gravity" as a prelude to that chapter.  [:)]
