Well, it is kind of ironic to come across this thread so soon after have just that kind of attitude rubbed in my face this morning. So yeah there are quite a few dominants who feel they don't need to compete to be successful and all the women flock to them just because they are compatible with thier needs. Still If I do a genral search on any give state on Collar Me a whole lot more blue shows up then pink that means not every dominant is going to get a submissive and with a couple greedy fellows taking up two or more and a number of submissives looking for a female touch a lot of male dominants are going to do without. Now I know part of being a Dominant is having an ego and unfailing confidence in ones own ability and that is in part what attracts submissives to us in the first place. But, to let it blind you to the point of not recognizing the odds are stacked against you then bind you to limited action in your pursuit does not make a great deal of sense to me. Of course we dominants could share our submissives and slaves fixing the shortage problem entirely (yeah that is going to happen

). I can not help noticing the people who put up the idea they are "All that and two bags of Cheetos and a Ding Dong" refered to themselevs as seasoned (mmmm roasted dom) or experienced, or worldly, or strong, and others who do not share thier opinions as insecure, childish, inexperienced or weak. They also sit with manly macho poses in thier pictures. Why would they go through the effort to prop them selves up in thier posts undermine the value of others and not have picture posted of them first thing in the morning unshaved and disheveled (note to self for the to do list) if they were not attempting to bolster thier image to appear interesting, manly, and strong. Don't get me wrong it is thier perogative and there is nothing wrong or demeaning with this attitude and I wish them all the success in the world with thier approach. I have my poenkitten and secure enough in our relationship to not even be remotely worried about Lumus sensational one liner that attracted her attention. But if we were still in the exploritory stages and she had not yet fully commited to me as her Master and if Lumus was the least bit interested in poen, both of us would be doing our damnest to convice her we were the most compatiable, most worthy, and the most capable dominants/sadists to meet her needs.

many of us submissive women are hard working, educated, responsible, smart and independent. thus, the need for feminine reinforcement in our personal lives. to feel like a real women, not assuming traditional male roles.

I don't think it's just male subs, I get one-liners from female ones too. They generally write 21/f/ bi in........somewhere. I usually type back--sooo?

And speaking of dominants, why don't they ever mention in their profiles that they live with their mommy? It seems to be a detail they forget to add.

I think they think they are all that and a bag of cheetos - they think being the operative phrase. Some are hilarious and I laugh til I cry. Some make me go wth? Others, well I just sit there for a bit before hitting delete. Makes for interesting reading
