Master and I both read the email that comes into our account on CM,and other groups. He has access to my email, and vice versa on our machines and he has been known to talk to someone on his laptop while my head is resting on his sholder reading along and commenting. Neither of us feels any need to screen for the other, though I know at least one "slave" who in the past read all of her Masters emails and left only the ones she felt he should see for him to read. Kinda like the secretary in an office going through mail, the only problem was he would go to a munch or whatever and get asked why he hadn't responded to something he never saw in the first place.

Frankly, I trust poenkitten not to do something like screen my messages, mainly because I get some 9,000 a day for work and she would never get a chance to read through them all and get anything done during the day. And let me tell you she does so many emails and post there is just no way for me to keep up with them all and still go to work, do yard work and build toys. I think I am just saying that building trust and respect takes a lot of work and once achieved to a satisfactorily level the need to monitor constantly becomes a self correcting problem. There are exceptions to this rule if someone is obessive to the point of paranoia, or obessive about controling every little thing in thier life (poen like the show Monk) then it may continue, then you just have to ask yourself if this is a behaviour you need, like, tolerate,dislike, or hate in your life and go from there. What you find pointless or meaningless might be an intrinsic ritual meant to show attention, diliagence, protectiveness, and care.

I suppose I see this differently I don't generaly look at profiles, unless it is some who has posted something here that interests me. When I do see something like, " All emails will be read by My master" or "Any rude emails will be delt with by MasterX", I always think, whats he gonna do? Kick his cyber ass? Tell you to block the offender? Do you need to be told? Thats just how I see it
