When scening with someone I don't know, I like "The End" by the Doors, but don't play it until your submissive is tied down, and unable to run.

"She's a Lady" by Tom Jones, has some cool music and lyrics. [:D]

Depending on the scene for me, I like a lot of the artists already listed, one of my favs for a Heavy scene is " Closer" By NIN a few other of my favs are Type O Negative ( love you to death, be my drudess, red water, all of which have great mood setting rhythms and instrumentals, I've taken just the musical parts of some of these ( you can get those by getting the kareoke ( I am never gonna learn to spell this word lol )  versions ). " Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven " Bed" by J. Holiday, uhm hmmm I'll have to go fishing for my cd's I'll be back with more lol

*edited* omg how did I manage to forget " Sexy Back" Justin Timberlake but fair warning dont try to use that in a serious scene, you'll end up shakin your ass more than whippin someone elses lol [:D]

When I am with a sub or slave....i feel like all lights dim around me...like I drown in darkness....I see only her...
so actually I don't mind much what music is around me...but at my place it would be something like this;
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Psy9-_SXIrc (Paradise Lost)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJYpQHB7xw0 (Paradise Lost)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbU5PhQ1CGU  (Anathema)

and my personal anthem to start with  :)

Hi,

My favorites or Rammstein, Eisbrecher, KMFDM, NIN, industrial metal in general. Germans are very good at it.

I also like trip hop, like Portishead and Tricky. Some electronica like Ladytron or Echoboy.

Depends on My mood, but it's always alternative music.

You can never go wrong with Enigma.

HerLord -> RE: What's your favorite scene music (2/17/2008 4:29:29 PM)

If any one has internet where they play I have a play list available online for just such an occasion. Anyone interested just message me and I will forward the link. It will open wait for instruction to play then you will have up to 666 songs (depending on wich playlist you want the link for) to "play" with. they are not arrangable.

also, play lists can be made to fit.

For breaking in a new sub, there is nothing like the Love Theme from Bladerunner by Vangelis.  Since the true Bladerunner soundtrack can be difficult to find, I would recommend his "Themes" album, which contains this track.

Arrrchibald -> RE: What's your favorite scene music (2/17/2008 5:56:24 PM)

Depends what's going on.  For a more serious atmosphere, you can't go wrong with Massive Attack.

These tracks work nicely:
Butterfly Caught - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXx3qb4H0po
Antistar - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtzb04ipD7A
Angel - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZsHNkAJBDU&feature=related
