In the first place, why should something as mundane as asking that you, in consideration of whether or not to list an activity, consider it from the viewpoint of erotic stimulation strike you as something amateurish? In all honesty, some people might consider flogging to be strictly a form of punishment and not view it in a sexual nature at all. Some might do the same with whipping or caning. So in asking you to consider it FROM the viewpoint of erotic stimulation, is that truly being amateurish or is it a form of specifying how they prefer for you to consider it? Is it possible that you...like a lot of people these days...just assume that everyone should know what something means and that there is no need to clarify? Then...when you come to find out later that what you thought can be seen from other perspectives differing from your own...you dismiss it (as I am sure you will this answer) with a "whatever" because it saves you from admitting that you did not look at the other ways that it could be seen from?
Secondly, I find it ironic that someone as young as you feels qualified to make judgments about how amateurish this site is. Legally, you should have not been viewing this site or others with similar content for much longer than a year. Legally, you certainly could not get into most BDSM venues until last year. Your dominant may well have been at it for quite a few years but, even if you started at age 16, that means you have been at it for 3 years only. How much exposure have you had to other sites and how much of it has been long enough for you to form an educated decision rather than a snap judgment?
