ok, here it goes, i have a few. i worked 16 hour shifts this weekend, i came home and my teen had eaten most of the chocolate cherry cake i made, ate all of my balogne, and left a whole sink of freaking dishes!  Then throws me an attitude when i hand her a chore list.  Grrr kids.
The second, my trainer told me He would spend the night Sunday and Monday because He had to work long hours on Valentines and my birthday. He didn't spend the night either night! Granted He spent the day with me, but i so got excited when He told me about spending the night, like a kid at christmas, then deflated. i told Him that if He didn't know for sure that He was going to stay, then to just not even mention it till He was going to stay.  i would rather not know then to be hurt.
The third, people who think they are the only ones driving.  No turn blinkers, breaking ever few seconds, slow driving then fast, getting in front of me then slowing down.  Sometimes i wish i had a large, non traceable truck so i could just ram the hell out of them!

OK, now i feel better!  Thank you

Sorry I missed that last bit DRH. I left work early so I would not have to deal with traffic, thank god I did! The roads were even worse than they had been in the morning. Took me 2 hours to get home (60 miles). Then, when I did get home I got my 4wheel drive truck stuck in a 3ft deep drift in my lane. Today I am staying home.....I have no choice. I have to shovel the truck out, then the drift.

The joys of living rural.

I am so glad I left early. Last night after rush hour, my son saw over 200 vehicles in the ditch between Cedar Rapids Iowa and the Amanas. It took him 6 hours to go 10 miles. He went to get his ex's BMW out of the ditch only to be told there was a tow ban on I80.

I will tell you what is bugging me..........snow and the IRS!

I am stuck here at home, waiting for a local to bring a plow to dig me out. I decide to make a phone call to the IRS regarding a nastigram they sent me. Seems they feel I got paid 20K more in 2002 than was reported. Now, don't get me wrong, IF I actually got the money I would be more than happy to pay taxes on it. Okay, not more than happy but if you've ever tangled with the IRS (lets just say, we have history) you would also happily pay the taxes.

However, the IRS being what the IRS is.........they like to wait. Wait until sufficient fees and penalty charges add up. Build it to an amount that very few of us can actually afford to write a cheque for, THEN they coming calling. I don't HAVE 12K laying in my bank just waiting for me to give it away. Of course this leads to calling my friend the tax attorney (friends due to the history I have with the IRS and the amount of money I have already given said tax attorney) which, of course, will cost me MORE money I don' have.

So here I sit, stuck near the phone waiting. Waiting for a reply from the people that reported said income, waiting for a return phone call from a tax attorney, and waiting for a snow plow. And I am afraid to go out and shovel to blow off steam because I might miss an important phone call.

All without even a punching bag to clobber.

Don't get me started.  Just........don't.

EEEEh I hate the IRS too, LaT.  Because folks with your kind of problem are the ones I deal with alllll the time, and just TRY to get the same answer out of two people.  You CAN'T.  Why?  Because there is virtually NO WAY you can talk to the same two people twice!  And those ID numbers they give you?  USELESS.  You CANNOT track a person with them.

So, thanks, eh, now I am less cheesed about my own stuff!

What really  bugs the shit out of me is when I am very specific in a particular topic I am talking about and the person or people that are listening are hearing me but not really listening to me. They answer me with something other than what I was talking about or give their answer in a shallow, narrow minded way as if they heard my words go in one ear and out the other but did not really absorb their true concept and meaning.

It also iritates me when I see certain people say the same exact thing as 1,000 other people say. Like certain phrases, comments, expectations or ideas. It makes people seem like brainwashed clones that can't think for themselves or come up with original and unique ideas, trains of thought, of beliefs.

Dayum, LaT...  what a terrible drive home!  Geez.  Sorry to hear about the snow that has you trapped.

Just because I am a giver, I want to extend my offer of a hot bath and a glass of wine to you again.  I'm just thoughtful that way.

Whats bugging me?

When the people you have been living with (daughter and b/f) for the last 2 1/2 years informs me that I have less than a week to decided where to live. Not many options. Then inform me today I have less than a week to be out.

My one option is NYC to live with my sister in a closet apt. YAY Big city and agoraphoic, this should be fun.

So I have a day maybe 2 to sort my belongings between what I can get on a train within baggage limits, what I can have shipped and what I can have stored ( the last probably meaning what I will probably never seen again. Good think I dont get attached to material things.

Oh joy.....direct repeat of my moving back to texas in the first place.

Its nice to know Im so expendable and not worth more than something to throw away with the rubbish.

Try cruex, and paint.  You might stop the balls itching, and make the store prettier.  if You wish i can say that in french, spanish, russian, turkish or german instead of english.
