ORIGINAL: popeye1250 It's simply a problem of logistics. By the time we got snowplows put together, put on ships and over to China, then on to where they need them the snow would probably be melting. Ever hear the saying "A slow boat to China?" From Long Beach , Calif the biggest shipping port on the West coast you're probably talking 9,000 miles to Hong Kong or Shanghai. That's a three week trip for a cargo ship. Well, aside from the fact that we can get big monstrously large Air Force planes, with 15 tanks inside each that are bigger than any dump truck and snow plow I've ever seen, to Iraq in less than 48 hours....I'd still have to say (even as it pains me to do so)...."that makes a lot of sense Popeye".
