It was written in 2001.

Unfortunately, it makes me wonder what they are saying now........

We've squandered all the positive regard from the world and our good name.

I grew up proud that America has historically taken the higher ground and won anyway. It saddens and sickens me to reflect on the state of my country today. That doesn't make me unpatriotic, just the opposite.

I am proud to say that my son is becoming a Marine. I just hope his service and honor are not wasted.

Tears. yeah. It is true.  We shined.  We as in us, ALL of us. We were our brothers keeper. It was tradgic and yet beautiful. People set out to DO SOMETHING about the mess.  We seen it again at Katrina. It is our people.

I am sick and itired of being sick and tired. I hope the new generation carries us away in the 2008 election and we remake ourself into a dynamic inspiration.

With the creative mind stiffled for 8 years- we CAN.   It ready to be unleashed!
