I once went on Halloween to the Galleria Domain in Chicago, dressed as "Little Red Riding Ho" I passed out candy from my basket. Condoms are a great idea! From RainGod: " Could it be that I just admire a woman who is pleasantly plump? or has the commercial media brainwashed us into thinking anything above size 6 is BBW? I would appreciate some feedback on this one. Thanks" In a word? Yes. Though really its probably anything over a size 2 or 4. I personally tire of the media trying to fit everyone into the same mold. Especially when I'm trying to buy clothes. I'm a shrinking size 12 and I know many who would consider me a "Fat chick". I used to be a size 22. I felt like a fat chick then, and did something about it. I wasn't happy there, though more power to those who are happy with their size, no matter what it is. I'm also 4'8.5", with 36DD chest, and an hourglass body. Nothing fits. I cant shop in women's cause stuff is way too long. Petite is typically too long as well, since thats for the just under 5'4" crowd. Kids is out cause ah gots hips, thankyah verra much :D. The media favors the tall, slender, with relatively little difference betweeen waist and hip. And thats whats available out there for folks to wear. Most stuff is designed for the the "standard". There was this Dove ad for.... curvy.... women. I think they ranged from size 8 to maybe 16. Maybe. They said these were normal women, and I thought them all fit, relatively slim, and one of them with what I considered curves. Good that they are trying to change the image of what is normal but I dont think they went far enough. And Wow, was there a backlash. One media goon went so far as to call them chunky and fat, and was offended that he had to look at their grossness on bilboards. That floors me. Granted, the ad is for some stupid cellulite cream.... talk about a mixed message.... But its really out of hand how those who do not fit the standard of media beauty are ridiculed and made to feel ugly and less than. I personally have a preference for healthy women. Some healthy women are a size 2. Some are a size 16, and so on. I look for not only physical health, but mental health. If someone loves their body, works to keep it healthy and is happy with their body image, they just exude sexiness to me. I don't care how physically attractive a woman's package is, if she has an unhealthy self image, I'm just not interested. But enough with the being crammed into one size fits all mold!
