The good news - my Dom gave me a box full of latex things (pants, thigh highs, panties, bra top) for Valentine's Day.

The bad news - I'm supposed to wear something latex to work every day.

After He heard that the "heels, skirts, nylons every day" thing had actually become comfortable and routine (and WHY did I have to share that?), He decided to add something. Of course, I had said how I liked doing all of the above and how I wished that I could do more, especially since we spend so much time apart.

Me and my mouth.

I've gone from thinking about latex wear as sexy and slutty, to seeing it for what it really is - nasty, dirty, sweaty and chafing torture devices. And not in the positive sense of "torture". It's just gross all around. I am NOT feeling sexy, naughty and all that - I just feel g-r-o-s-s.

So, issues with the latex -

1. For reasons of practicality, I can only wear the panties under my work clothes. Everything else either shows or is way too hot. I'm in Orlando, so even in February it's warm.

2. I sweat. It's icky.

3. After three days in a row last week, my personal bits were about to rebel. I won't go into detail (TMI), but I know that long hours of wearing of latex down there is not healthy.

4. GAS. All I'm going to say. Latex panties may look sexy, but they're NOT.

5. They chafe.

Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to wear latex that will not show under my clothes or give me any kind of rash, or is this something that will just not get better? If the latter then I will just let Him know it doesn't work like He thought, but I want to really give it a try before I throw in the towel.

Last week I was all upset about it, but after a few days of this I find myself laughing about it. Feel free to join in.

Even the MOST Hardcore Latex Fetishists don't often go as far as you have in your post.

I can understand if the purpose of this excercise is to tourture you in the bad way but if it isn't I think you should explain this to your Sir and ask if you can go to wearing it only when you Masturbate or while on the phone with him or only when he is there in person to appreciate it because in reality if you keep this up the Chafeing Rash coudl become a yeast style skin infection, akin to the ones children get in diapers.

If you don't want to do this ....

CORN STARCH and LOTS of it you will be making pancake batter in your panties but it is the only thing I have been told works in LONG term Latex Wear.

Long term wear of latex panties can lead to toxic shock syndrome or pelvic imflammatory disease or PID--you need air down there--both of you need a dose of reality---before you are a very sick young lady.

Long term wear of latex in any area, cuts off circulation and is dangerous.

Oh.

Not going with the cornstarch, and NOT going with diaper rash. I'll explain this to Him.

And thank you, thank you, thank you for explaining that long term latex wear is hardcore. I know it might sound stupid, but I think that both of us just thought "clothing" and so didn't really look into it. No prior experience on either end with this - obviously, right?

A full work day is a long time to wear latex anything.....

Would it be within the boundaries if you wore the latex panties to work and then discretely removed them during a break period or something?

celtic - I will ask about removing them during a break. I'm sure we can come up with something. It's not like He will be unreasonable about it; if it isn't healthy then He won't have me do it.

I hate to be negative about His gift, but omg I think of Him every time I pass gas now. Why? Because it is hard to deal with, so I think "Well, wearing this makes Him happy" every time it happens because it helps me deal with it.

So now I associate farting with my Dom. NOT the intention He had in mind, I'm sure. I am laughing so hard I'm red in the face right now, but hell, it is funny.

Paulsgirl - nah, not a punishment thing. He wouldn't punish me because He did something dumb (and this qualifies, I think).

Although I did get a deep thrill when I finally broke down and told Him in an email that I thought of Him every time I had gas. Felt delightfully vengeful, in a perfectly innocent (and so guilt free) way.

I did exactly what He said, and I told Him what the results were - the fact that I enjoyed sharing how gross it is doesn't make me rebellious, hehe.

What about getting crotchless latex panties, and wearing some cotton panties or a thong under those? that way you get the air to those parts and still get the latex thing (not to mention fart-venting..LOL)

Crotchless ones were included in the box He sent me. I've been worried that I would either break them (thin connecting pieces where the crotch is) or that they would pinch due to movement.

I guess I can try them. I'll report back tomorrow.

If you want to be able to wear some bit of latex every day as a matter of principle, you might have better luck with a garter belt. For quite a long time the only garter belt I owned was latex, and being as at the time I almost always wore stockings, well, something had to keep them up! :)

Anything else is not going to let your skin breathe enough to be able to be worn for long term use, but a garter belt is fairly unobtrusive in my experience. YMMV.
