Pahunkguy, 75 bux is not too much to pay for a dog anyway. You could train the animal yourself, it is a wonderful thing to do. It is not as hard as it might seem. You tell your dog what you want it to do and reward it when it does. If it does not do what you want, it is important to be patient, some dogs need more time to learn. My girl had a rough time at first and I was scared I would never get her trained right. I had not ever owned my own dog before so it was all new. Patience and kindness go far with animals. Dont hit your dog or scare it to make it do what you want. There are cool books in the library and at the time they had videos too, I rented. You dont need someone else to train your dog, it is kind of like getting someone else to train your UM, (I am not referring to school, but home-training) it is better if you do it. You have a window when they are young to learn as many tricks and things as you want them to. They could still learn after but it is in that window that it is so game on. A dog is there for your feelings, they are emphatic with human emotion. The dog was born so it could be with you. You could pay 75 bux and train your dog yourself, I know you can, if it feels right to you to get a dog. Ben Harper said, "Life is a series of good dogs." I heard him say that on an interview, and he had just lost his dog at the time.
