This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

THE SITUATION

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water.

Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

THE TEST

Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever. You have two options--you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize-winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful politicians.

Here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high-contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

black and white....

but consider that moral issues can be black and white.

i had to think what i would have done if working in a hospital or nursing home ...with children at home ...would i stay and help save the lives of people i didnt know but from working in the institution or attempt to go home and save my kids.

actually I answered, then thought - nope not going to respond to something so close to reality - not very respectcful in light of current events - but just my opinion.
There is humour, then there is bad taste.

I'd want it all.

the pics of him in danger and then of me saving him or having his corpse for burial so I can take more pics.

Taking just the pics could bring you more fame but the rescue can bring you more fortune, an automatic job for the white house, something good to be on your resume, and a launching career for more pics and poses.

Having just one pic or film of a presidents death never did do anyone with the camara much success. The JFK assination will tell you that. You'll be better off when you put money before fame.

color so that i could later digitially change it to black and white; the first for the magazines and the latter for newspapers and other uses. after taking the photograph, i'd save as many of those who were left in the flood (mainly the poor) that i could.

High contrast, one would want to catch the detalis, and then send the first issue of the magasine it got in signed to Bin Laden.
