Are there any others, and who do folks contact? I think it'd be easier if we picked one and stuck with it, but that's just my thoughts.

New to this thread.. I have Alliance on Lothar....... Horde on Suramar....... Horde on Gorfiend..

I really didn't realize there were so many CMers on WoW either... awesome.

Ummm...Lvl 70 Druid on bloodhoof

Do premades for AB a fair bit, would be nice to do it with some fellow prevurts...I could even reinstate My "rape and pillage" battlecry and mean it this time :D

" There is a new server GHOSTLAND. This would make more sense. It's only a month old. Easier to start a new guild (A and H) considering people are wanting a fresh start there. AND it is a transfer server also so if people did decide on bringing their mains in time .well they wouldnt have that crazy 6 month waiting period."

House of Whacks is up and slowly running. So if you pop on Ghostlands. just do a /who house and go from there. ;)

We’ve opened a brand new PvE realm to be added to the Emberstorm Battlegroup. This is a new non-transfer realm and as such it will not be available as a destination for Paid Character Transfers for six months. We invite new and old players alike to join this realm and begin a fresh adventure in Azeroth.

Realm: Cairne - Normal
Timezone: Central

So we're settling in on multiple servers, or have we picked one major one?

I can't promise how much I'll be able to play with the CM crowd due to raiding with my main, but I think it'd be fun to try to get a guild together again. :D

I was the one who showed Eiseria the info in the brand new server.(I thank you Eiseria) The way I see it, there are two very good options for us that want to start fresh.

Ghostlands is a little over a month old . While it is a young server it is a transfer server. There are pros and cons here.
Pros: If you created a new character there and came to find out you enjoyed Ghostlands , you could transfer one of your mains ASAP. Also, since the server is just a month old, you wouldn't be far behind those who created their toons when the server 1st started.

Cons: Since there are many 70's running around, it doesn't have the feeling of a new server. Not everyone on the server is starting from scratch since it is a transfer server. I should also mention Ghostlands does have a Que (waiting time) when logging in. This is due to the large amount of 70's.

Now lets move on to the brand new server Cairne.

Pros: This server came out today. This would be a genuine "starting fresh" server. Chances are everyone on this server will either be new to the game or just individuals who want a fresh start.

Cons: Those who did create new toons on other servers would have to start over. I can see where this would be a turn off for some. Also, since this is not a transfer server, you wouldn't be able to transfer your main for 4 -6 months.

I would like to hear anyone's opinion on these new servers or if you have different ideas, I would love to hear them. Personally, I have been in a WoW slump for a few months now. These new servers did catch my attention. Since I am seeking a fresh start I am leaning towards Cairne. That being said, I will go with the majority. This game is all about community and I think it would be a positive thing, to start a community of freaks. :)

I created a druid on Cairne. I've been waiting for a brand new server to open up for a while. I don't mind starting from scratch I find it fun.

Personally I'd go for Cairne. I myself wouldn't be transferring any of my characters (I'm happy where I am with my guild and all) but I'd love to start over, and a new server means the stability that comes with non-ancient hardware, unlike Gorefiend and its hamster-powered self, as well as no queue times for the impatient among us. My preference goes to Horde, but you can never have too many draenei.

PvE is much easier to level up on for people who are maybe just starting out, so another point to Cairne... I can imagine a lot of people who just want to enjoy the game content without having to worry about things like "ZOMG WAS THAT A STEALTHY NOISE OMG OMG ROGUE" every five minutes would be tearing their hair out very quickly on a PvP server. And while RP would also prevent the gankage, I think it's a little too niche and might turn off some people who aren't into that play style.
