I asked a slave I had found here to be my slave and now she is gone.... Does this happen alot here. We had talked and talked over the past few months and I thought she was ready to make the move and she said yes... That was 5 days ago and her phone # is out of order and her profile is missing.

A lot of people panic when they realize deep down that they can have their fantasy. It's not an unusual thing at all. An alternative is that she was just stringing you along "for a little fun." That's on problem with the online world. Someone can do something like that, change a screen name, and come back to do it to someone else (and occasionally to the same person.) Phone numbers used to be a serious thing, but now a simple call to the cell company can get you another number in a few minutes.

Wow i am sorry to hear that maybe she just changed her mind or maybe she is going to surprise you? i dont know the whole situation though, does she have your telephone number ect ? i dont know what to tell you, she must not have been the one for you, i do not trust people on line, nor do i seek people on line. i have a Master/husband and it took us four years to get in the scene and a month ago He collared me and i became His slave and He said He is ready to be my Master. It takes time for some people to evolve into this type of ownership and my Master said that he knows me more than i know myself and that i am an open book and he knows all the pages. Unfortunately it happens quite a bit online. I do not think online is necessarily bad as long as the people involved are honest with what they want. Where it gets bad is when someone with no intention of being real time gets involved with one who desires it. If they are upfront with their wants it is all good. There are those I think that read about the lifestyle put it in a fantasy and then decide they just cannot follow through. That unfortunately can happen. My best advice is unless you are simply looking for online then never collar or accept a collar online. If you want real life then only do so in real life. Online can help you meet potential partners, that much is a good thing. Allowing a relationship to become to advanced online perhaps is not wisest if you are desiring a relationship that is not based online. You can develope a friendship online for sure but until you meet face to face you truly will not know if the connection is there for more. Harmony

Sadly, My friend, this has become a familiar story on these sites. IMO, One should take everything HE is told with a grain of salt online. Sadly, there seems to be a decline of honesty and openess... and truly that is a sad thing. I offer you My condolences because I too have tasted the bitter taste of such disappointment. I can only offer this advice... the same I have to remind Myself each time... whoever she is, whatever she says, be nice, polite and cordial, but stick to your guns. If it was meant to be, it will come to pass. If it was not meant to be, losing her in that way will be the mercy of not having your heart torn out later down the line. Bless you in your search.

You talked and talked over the past few months and you thought she was ready for the MOVE? Did you just talk through email? Over the phone? Did you ever meet in person? This does, indeed, seem to happen quite a bit online. There are many reasons to why people do this, some understandable, some otherwise. Ehlovindom has the right of it, though. Without more information no one can really respond in a well-informed fashion.

Damn, and I thought I was having a bad day.....my dog ran away so I am now off the Animal Shelter to see if someone picked her up. I'll keep an eye out on your slave. I was the quintessential Catholic school girl, though my nuns apparently missed the "have them kneel on broken pencil stubs, etc." lesson, or anything else that dramatic. Still, I learned on what side of the ruler I wanted to be. [;)] Edited to add to the OP: I think the safest route to avoid this heartache is to meet first, collar second.
