Damn, I'm no owner, neither am I owned, but I'm going to reply anyway, because it's one of my fave subjects ever. I've decided that the best thing is to fuck someone I love. Nothing like it, to me.

To  me it is the person not the act. If your with a the right person, it is ALL making love. And yeah.....a cane CAN be used in foreplay...:)

Eh... in my opinion there is nothing "just" about great sex. Love making is wonderful, and it's something that we do but it's not our usual.

It's in the eye of the beholder, I think.  I'm more likely to feel that sleepy sex (4 am stuff) is making love and hotter, faster, etc., is sex, but it's not "just sex."

Not My Lord, or a master, but going to reply anyway.

The answer is YES!  A loud resounding YES!!  We make love, have sex, fuck, roll in the hay, stir up the sheets, do the mattress mambo...and many, many more!

For us, the sex is a fun thing.  Even if we've had the worst day ever, we can at least get laid!  At the end of a session, we are usually either both smiling, both asleep, or both! [:D] 

In all seriousness, if I am in need of tenderness, I ask for it, and vice versa.  Otherwise, we get into bed together and see what happens.  Our sex life is very spontaneous, very exciting, and mostly, a lot of fun.

Bounty I really think it depends on whom you are with and the emotions of the moment as Omega's categories pointed out.   I can tell you I've had rough, need-satisfying but very enjoyable sex with someone I was in love with and neither of us would have called it "making love."  But yeah I personally wouldn't discount a cane as foreplay or pain as not being in the "making love" category.

It can be slow and easy on a rainy Saturday afternoon.  It can be fast and rough up against the wall barely getting the door shut in time.  It can start in the hallway and go to the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom to the balcony....  It can be a down and dirty quickie or it can be rough and tumble for hours.

It's all called fucking and it's fucking great! [:D]

Not a Dom or Owner here, but I think it all depends on the feelings and emotions you have toward your partner, the timing, the situation, lots of stuff.   There's a time and place for making love, down and dirty sex, and just plain ole fucking.
