I feel it matters not where in the world you are , there is something happening on a global level , and somewhere close to you there is an event of some kind to connect with others .Long distance travel is not always a must to expand your community connections and circle of kinky pals . The whole push for the womens spa getAway weekend is awesome and i wish you all well with that and hope many take part and enjoy it . We don't always have to leave it up to others to initiate an impromptu luncheon or meeting where some of us may already be in attendance . be well on n all .

I try to push www.TES.org for their munches and educational seminars in the NYC local area. and honestly I know they would be willing to work out a deal for CM'ers or something...hmm ideas churning....

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate this. I think I understand where you're going with this. Every now and again, I'll see something on the general board about people who are attending an event trying to see if there are other CM folks that will also be going. I've done it before when I've had plans (or even last minute decisions) to go to SELF or DomCon in Atlanta. It gives Me a chance to meet folks that I might not recognize from their profile pictures alone. (Funny side story, I recognized Master Archer immediately at SELF last year, but had to be introduced to His Elegant. I'm weird like that.) I've also been known to put things in My journal when I know I'm going to a particular club for the evening. I've met CM folks through that method, too. I have this whole list of people that I would love to meet when I plan to be moving next year. (I was hoping it would be this year, but Mistress Military didn't exactly agree with Me.) I could slow a cross country move to almost a crawl if I actually stopped everywhere that I wanted to (yes, with a U-Haul). I'm determined to make attempts of meeting DarchChylde and the rest of the Mac family. I would love to swing through Texas and meet pixel. Meeting DV and Her boys would be a lot of fun. I'm fifteen months before it even being possible, but I wrote Stephann already about meeting Him and His. I would love to meet Merc and beth, just because they seem like such friendly people. I could go on and on. Maybe when I make that trip to CA, I'll put together a CM road map and see how many I can meet along the way. I think its important for people to make use of the "events" list. a few big events coming up just off the top of my head: TESfest in northeast NJ CampCrucible In PA LF&P in DC Shibari-Con in Chicago these are apparently events that people travel far for. and are events that would really benefit from the international advertising that a site like this provides. something that can take the community off the net and put it into real life gatherings. I met Archer and Elegant Years ago and they are wondeful people [:)] Glad ya all have the wheels turning for some meet n greets out there in this worl wide community . Best wishes .
