You did the right thing Furr and should not even need to question your rules and standards.
How long would he take to tell his wife anyway would not be after the first meeting or the second if there was one infact probably just said that he wanted her to be his Dom to keep you intrested but was so far from the truth.
We just say no to either sex that tells us their spouse would not understand if they were with us even just to chat inperson or that they would rather waite till later and tell them then,no way do we wish to be the cause or be involved in a divorce or family split.

well, i understand the comments made by most about honor and ethics. but i guess i'm just more optimystic about people's intentions. I know, understand, and sympathyze with people's insecurities about entering the lifestyle. Though he should be most honest with his wife of course, i might give him a chance to see if i could help. I feel like because my intentions are good, thant i havn't harmed my karma, nor have i thretened my ethics. inevitably people have different standards, and approach situations differently, but i truely believe that there is no dishonor, nor a loss of integrity if she were to meet with him for coffee. But hey, im young and can be neive about people with manipulitive ideas. i often just act with my heart, without consideration that i could be stepping into a trap. also, if she had a bad feeling about the guy, than i do beleive she acted right in not involving herself with him. Gotta trust your gut.

peace and pain

How is giving someone the benefit of a doubt compromising one's ethics and standards? If she met with him for a coffee and he still didn't inform his wife then she could send him on his way. I don't see how that would be compromising her ethics...

Small point. The OP is male.

-falls over laughing- I'm sure even after this people will still refer to him as her.

Maybe bigger words... The OP is MALE

Tee hee.
