I think it's sad that we are no longer able to access the Castle Realm site in its original format, the way that Colm master-dude meant it to be.  Maybe he forgot to pay some bills.

I just wish I knew how to access the archives to Mistress Steel's Steel Door articles. I found hers to be very down to earth, specific and interesting.

I'd rather not say what I thought of the Castle Realm articles. (although they were interesting readings for a beginner)

A far better than a simple response, for which no one really knows the answer to.  At least it manifested into some good humor and a few good responses...

Dnomyar -> RE: What happend to the Castlerealm web site ? (2/25/2008 11:12:15 AM)

Ok here's the scoop. Hagar stormed the castle and destroyed it after he found Lucky Eddie had ran off with the QueenDomme.

Well I know there had been little to NO additions after Jade died and I assume eventually He eventaully just let the hosting fee lapse. I am sure he got tired of all the people poking fun at his life and trampling all over the Memory of his Dead wife and slave.

Then again Maybe he is starting another web site with a new girl and moving on or maybe he decided that he was done with this lifestyle Colm and Jade were real people met them once before she passed she looked sick then too but I guess she always looked a little under the weather. Who knows.

Try other things make new friends venture to new places.

Oh I hope I didnt come across as poking fun at Him or His memory of jade. I liked the site very much. It hlped me tremendously.

I would never intentionally hurt anyone..I just love writing stuff..

KatyLied -> RE: What happend to the Castlerealm web site ? (2/25/2008 5:58:29 PM)

I always wondered if they were real people.  That may sound disrespectful, but I don't believe everything I read on the internet.

I have to second this.  Even with the Old Guard controversy, people are able to point to people they know (or knew while alive) who told them X thing.  Can anyone give independent verification that the Master and slave of CastleRealm did in fact live (and love) as they claimed?  The whole thing had an "I wish things were like this" flavor to it, instead of the gritty "This is how my relationship is working and not working" flavor.

Does anyone have personal experience with the founders of CastleRealm?

LadyRainfire -> RE: What happend to the Castlerealm web site ? (2/25/2008 6:14:37 PM)

I knew people who knew them personally. But what's happened to him over the years I have no clue. Wherever he is, I wish him well. Castlerealm was a great resource.

It would be nice to think he has finished his greiving and moved on.

Leatherist -> RE: What happend to the Castlerealm web site ? (2/25/2008 6:58:45 PM)

But on a side note, I always did find Steel's articles to be a better fit to my view of D/s.

But I'm a meat and potaoes sort of guy-not a roses and candy one.

SteelofUtah -> RE: What happend to the Castlerealm web site ? (2/25/2008 7:25:24 PM)

I can agree that Colm and Jade were sappy but there was a real honesty in the way they talked about loving each other. I am also married to my slave and truth be told much of the time you simply have to learn to do things differently.

I cannot say if it was always the sweet way it was portrayed on the site like I said I met them only once and talked about the web site pretty much the entire time. They did SEEM to love one another as it was not protocol she was following that was obvious she really did want to simply be with him. At least that is the way it looked from my hour or two time with them.

CastleRealm was simply a Blueprint of THIER life it was not a HOW-TO (His words not mine) FAR too many people used it as a "Read this then do it" kinda site which is what caused some of the different articles about How-To but each article was in responce to an E-mail and they always Qualified "This is How WE do this"

Some people like a Harsh view of life that somehow this lifestyle does not allow for complete love, but it can. My wife/slave and I love each other very much but there are times I wonder if I could get away with burying her in an undisclosed location. In the end we both appologise to each other and I take off my Master hat and she takes off her slave hat and we talk to one another LIKE PEOPLE, because for all the titles we give ourselves here that is what we are. People.

There was another Site awhile back (Also Gone Now) Called BDSMU (BDSM University) It was a How To Web Site by Master Something-or-other and his slave Yielding if you can find Archives to it I found it informative in my first 2 to 3 years in this lifestyle.

Over time I have addopted the "I do what I like and if you don't like it be happy you aren't my slave" Approach

Me as well.  Which is why I try to chase away-more than attract. Saves a lot of time, and pretty much amuses me.
