I found this and got really inspired for someone else:

GREAT hat! I love those old hats. Master hates when I go to antique shops, 'cause I'm always trying 'em on. [:D]

Thanks! I have this wild fantasy of getting married, riding in on horseback in all cream, sidesaddle with a Edwardian corset and bustle. This type hat would be great to wear outdoors then take off later. If i can start putting together the elements now, say for a Halloween costume, then why not? If ya'll don't mind I can share some pics ;)

i would really love to do a pony costume.

ive wanted these shoes for a long time...http://www.punitiveshoes.com/
im not sure what i would wear with them but i work as an exotic dancer and i know they'd make anyone curious.

does anyone know any good stores (online if needed) in the us that sell them? or any ideas as to what to wear with them?

thanks

Hey Petwolf..Have you ever tried "POINTE SHOES" ! They look respectable, and still feel like Foot Bondage....ha ha ha And you can get different colors too...I have Pink, Black and Red.

Happy Birthday to me, BalletBob

petwolf22 -> RE: Halloween Costumes (9/24/2005 7:36:58 PM)

i have seen them, but i have to think what would be practical to work in too....negotiating a large crowd, stairs, a lot of up and down dancing, and a pole would probably be too much for me....besides, i like "animal" feeling more.

nonuts4thshoney -> RE: Halloween Costumes (9/24/2005 10:53:02 PM)

i wore the one below last year in the long tight dress exactly like it. it was fun being a naughty nun. i beat everyone at the party with my ruler that night. LOL!!

We just saw Corpse Bride and talk about ideas!!! I would luuuuvvv to go as the corpse bridesmaid, flower'girl' or even the maggot. Such fun characters. For anyone interested in dressing up as the main character i would suggest the following: Long purple-blue skeins of 'dead'locked hair, dried rose tiara, gauze veil with indigo embroidery at the edges (roughed up, tattered and torn that is actually easy to make and the embroidery is just some curly q's), blue facepaint, darker blue eyeshadow, bubblegum pink lips, a cutout space on left cheek showing teeth, an old tattered strapless gown with a train or handmade train out of similar guaze that's died gradually deep indigo at the ends (which form a tattered oval behind her), a skeleton sleeve for her left hand, old lace gloves that come to a point (not the kind with fingers, just wristlets), a cutout on right side of bodice to show 'ribs', and to top it all off, a bouquet of blue sprayed dried roses and babies breath. Sounds like a lot but the dress would be the hardest to make unless you're willing to buy one online or could find one at a thrift store.

Hey Sub...That once looks a little like the girl in Nightmare before Christmas.

BalletBob

BalletBob -> RE: Halloween Costumes (9/26/2005 5:58:57 PM)

Hey Sub,,that's a great Outfit...a Little Girl...and in Clunky Mary Janes too. I always wanted to be Forced Dressed in something like that....but then again, it wouldn't take too much force at all.....ha ha ha...and I have small feet, so those shoes and Ankle Socks should fit me just right. I usueall get my Frilly Lace Ankle Socks from a Dollar Tree.

Blushing NOW, BalletBob
