Just a quick note. I drop really quick lately due to hormones outta whack. Frustration is the initial trigger and then i just sink from there. What do i do? Don't worry about trying to fully understand it right that second. Cuddle, snuggle, read, EAT something healthy for blood sugar, meditate, listen to ipod, relax and even snooze. If you need to feel connected, ask your top to allow some mutual massage or something like foot worship. Works well for me. Now, when you're ready to try to prevent it, start examining what your trigger was. Was it pain? Was it humiliation? If so, what kind... You may find that there is some underlying anxiety coming to the surface when you are vulnerable or you may just drop due to the brain chemistry involved. Everyone is different. I'm sure you'll find plenty to read on this but i also hope this catches ES2's eye or subforhire. They are both very well educated ladies on the subject. I'm only speaking from personal experience. If you know you are prone to it, try to prevent/alleviate it as best you can next time(s). Don't fight it though. A good 'release' like a cry is awesome. And what's better than getting a bubble bath or cookie when you're blue? Or is that just me ;) xoxo
