It's that time of year in Indiana again. The Feast of the Hunters Moon is this weekend. For all who don't know, it's an extremely large 18th century voyageur reenactment festival that takes place yearly in my town. It's a huge event, and people come from all over the country. I absolutely love it, because it marks the beginning of my favorite season. The air is crisp, the leaves are turning, there is hot apple cider brewing, and croquinolles to snack on (that's reason enough to go). I get a little misty eyed just thinking about it. If any of you are within driving distance to Lafayette, Indiana you ought to plan a day to drop down for the Feast. It's amazing.
