Aye, when I shave. Actually, I tend to have a smooth face more often.
The reason I have such a wild bush on my face is because of a promise I made. Back in November, when my girl was delayed from coming up yet again, we talked about the things we would want to do together when she arrived. No, not that sort of thing [well, certainly not entirely]...things like walking with her through the park downtown; keeping up our 'music nights' together; snuggling up on the couch while watching a movie. One thing she'd commented on was that she always enjoyed shaving a man's face as a nurse - giving a man a 'dignified' look, and seeing how happy they were to be tended to.
So, I made her a promise. I said I wouldn't shave myself; that I'd keep the fur on my face until she came up and shaved it off for me [preferably on our first night together]. Three months later, I look like a wildman or a hippie [both terms are used at work], but since I never cared about my appearance all that much, the comments don't bother me. All I care about in this case is keeping my word to my girl.
