Browsing through the profiles, I've noticed something odd. Many dominant women are looking for high-powered executive types who are also submissive or have slave tendencies.

It seems like a bit of a pipe dream, almost the exact opposite pipe dream that male subs have about being full-time caged live-in houseboys.

So I'm curious. how many dominant women have found this submissive gentleman who's attained the pinnacle of all careers? I'd love to hear any thoughts on this most coveted of submissive guys.

I've noticed a lot of married guys looking to get some strange of the kinky type on submissive male profiles - think that's as much of a pipe dream?

As for my experience here, I've met a lot of successful people (male and female), but my main concern is that I like them and that they suit my personality.

Actually, I HAVE met a few (most in RT not online). These men have been truly submissive, and not just "do me" bottoms either. They are extremely dominant in their vanilla lives - have very high paying jobs with a lot of responsibility. They crave a  power exchange and the release they get from turning complete control over to a woman. They are not perfect (who is?), and I will not generalize and say each and every one has had all of these traits but I have noticed at least one in the few I have met: they tend to go farther into what I guess you may call "sub space" when we are together, with what seems like an inability to think AT ALL - hanging on every word, waiting for instruction, when their lives get very stressful; they crave the ability to submit even more and can get somewhat agressive in wanting that time together when they can let it all go; and/or the mental aspects of BDSM are far more important in the relationship dynamic than the physical acts.
Personally, I have enjoyed them and certainly had a lot of fun mind fucking them.[sm=book.gif]

Not what I seek, those I have chatted with that are in that realm, I find are submissive as long as it is their way, and want to use their submission to manage life for the little lady--they also seek the trophy Domina, hwp, blonde and younger--puhleez.----as soon as someone says,  "you won't have to work"----I know we are in a power struggle out of the gate. ( I do not generalize here, this is only what I have come across).

Definitely not something I'm looking for.  I've met with a few professional male subs, but our values and personalities are not really compatible.

I've met a few of these subs too. They do exist, and in many cases are very nice men. Not my cup of tea really. I go for the geeks. (Although in today's world if we're equating "success" with "money" then a lot of geeks are as successful as any CEO)

Just because it's my first day on CM doesn't mean I haven't studied this stuff for a long time. I joined because I wanted to ask some questions firsthand.

I know there are hundreds, maybe thousands of dudes on these boards that are running around on their wives. I'm upfront in my profile because I have no intention of doing so. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Pipe dream? There are plenty of CEO subs here in S.F.
When I was a Pro, most of my clients were males with high powered jobs.

If you'd really "studied" this for any length of time, you'd know that money is a pretty common point of stress for dominant women, both with submissive men and with the world at large.  There is another thread on this forum about dominant women + money oooooooh...about every other day.

Some women are going to get impatient with the constant repetition of financial themes.  Here's a partial list, if you care, of thread topics that a lot of us are pretty tired of dealing with:

Jeez, i certainly didn't mean to have this thread go in that direction. But I can see how the financial implication could be read into the post. Let me rephrase. The personality traits necessary to rise to the top of the corporate world seem so out of sync with submission. I wondered if people with this kind of dichotomous personality were relatively common or relatively rare.

I know that it's simplistic to assume someone, like a CEO, is an alpha male 100% of the time just because that's how he or she must approach the professional environment (and I don't mean to imply that all CEOs are testosterone-laden alphas either). It interests me how people can reconcile these seemingly disparate facets of their personalities.

To be honest, the "Hard Charging Alpha Male Who Wants to Give Up Control In the Bedroom" is such a common thing that it really is a cliche these days.  This category of man is extremely common for pro dommes in particular--as a couple of them have said in this thread already.  And the one or two professional-male submissives I have met were both lawyers who were doing quite well.  One of them was pulling six figures a year and had command of a lot of resources--not a CEO, but definitely had more money than I ever have.

The problem in forming a relationship with someone like him was that our values were out of sync.  There's a reason I'm not a CEO myself.  [;)]  And I would find it difficult in general to sync up with any man whose life revolved around money, wearing of "power" ties, or keeping up a sternly straight/vanilla front.

To me, a "power suit" is science fiction battle armor a la Mechwarrior.  Not something tailored in Italy.

For the record, there are a lot of men who have positions of authority or power in vanilla life who are submissive to women in their personal lives, including police officers, military men and politicians.  The problem with forming relationships with them isn't the depth or sincerity of their private submission--that is very real.  It's the difficulty of working around their vanilla lives.

I have a CEO female friend who is single. She wants a man but says she cant find one strong enough  to control her. She has a strong outgoing personality but I don't think that is her problem. Most men find her very intimadating. I think the imtimadation is what people have to get pass when dealing with a CEO type. I have many CEO type friends. Why. Because I dont let a Title get in the way when Im with them. Without the title they are the same as us.
When it comes to meeting people Im probably more outgoing than most in here. While I admire what people accomplish Im not going to let them look down on me .  You can be a Dom/Domme or sub/slave in the bedroom but outside of it your still both just regular people. 

I can state for a fact that a CEO can be just as submissive as any sub in here. Like most in here will tell you get to know the person first.

Well I meet successful subs all the time in RT.  Successful business people, successful professionals, successful artists, successful students (if they are still young!), successful university lecturers......but never through the internet. 

Why do you assume a man who is perceived as "alpha" by other males would not worship and adore his woman?  And let her make all the decisions for them as a couple? 

I have worked for vanilla CEO's who were proud to tell the team "my wife wants me home by 6.00pm to see the kids.  Gotta go"  All the less than alphas got stuck working back late!!!

These same CEOs would refuse invitations to events unless their wives were invited too because they did not socialise without her.  They openly doted on their wives (and children) and made it clear their wives were the boss at home.  Now that is total confidence in your masculinity.  

How is female worship incompatible with success?  It is not.

I would say the freedom (financial and social) of being successful empowers a man to enjoy being submissive to his woman.  But does he allow anyone else to dominate him?  No.

Hang around a while and you will see male subs make this point over and over.  A submissive only submits to his Mistress.  No-one else has earned that privilege. She is his queen and he is her chivalrous knight.   He looks and acts like a "normal" guy in every other way.  The conception of male subs as "snivelling weak worms" is a figment if BDSM fantasy or temporary humiliation role play. 

Do some subs enjoy submission as a way to relieve the pressure of leadership all day?  Maybe, but that begs the obvious reverse question: do some Dommes dominate to relieve the pressure of being submissive all day?    I don't think so. 

I think Dommes are just hard wired to love sexually dominating men.  And subs are wired to love sexually submitting to women.  We were born different to everyone else sexually. 

How we behave outside our sexual orientation (as workers, parents, friends, family members) does not really have much correlation with our sexual D/s orientation IME, but I know that seems  a radical observation.

I am a busy professional myself.  I need a submissive that fits seamlessly into my real world of power suits, business trips and good quality shoes [:D]

There's no time to supervise someone in a cage all day.  If he wants to wait for my return naked on his knees, he could be waiting a damn long time because I never know when I am getting home [:D]

Maybe thats why I meet suits.  We are compatible on levels other than D/s.  I usually meet them through friends who are pro-dommes (never the net) because they are the kinds of guys who can easily afford pro-dommes, but they want a more personal, loving D/s relationship in and outside the dungeon.

One last comment although it is a bit off on a tangent

I really do not think advertising for a "rich guy" is the way to meet a genuine, successful submissive.  It can only backfire.

It just screams "gold digger" and the really great subs are too smart to date greedy women for more than, say, a weekend or a few night of free fun.

Look at the advertisments by women looking for the traditional successful "alpha" male and look at how long they have been members here and are still looking for a D/s partner.

While I have not met any submissive CEO's, I have talked to submissive attorneys, doctors, etc.  All but one of the "submissive" attorneys ticked me off before any meeting could take place.  The "submissive" doctor is the sub of a Domme friend of mine and I don't know why she puts up with him (well, actually I do.)  I am sure that there are in fact many sincere submissive lawyers, doctors, and CEO's out there, but I have not come across many.
 
Personally, I seem to get along better with engineers and techno-geek types.  I am used to directing the activities of such individuals all day long, so it seems natural.
