MsCfromMelbourne -> March Roll Call (3/1/2008 2:50:34 AM)

Can you believe its March already?  First day of Autumn down here in Australia.

How is everyone this month?

Our very first UM is arriving in 10 days by C-section (due to some complications) unless she decides to bail out earlier by herself.  Otherwise all is going fantastically well......and I am the size of a hippo!!!  I keep forgetting how enormous I am and bumping my belly into the furniture[8|]

We have finished our antenatal classes and my sub was the star!  While all the other Daddy's-to-Be fumbled about like idiots, he got straight down on his knees, shook out the bunny rug, folded and changed a nappy and re-dressed our pretend baby in lightening time.  You don't have to show my man how to do anything more than once.  He's so clever [:)]

It is kind of boring being at home full time now. There's nothing to do but post far too much on collarme, shop and wash all these eeny weeny clothes we have been given.  I guess I should be grateful for the rest, right?

Would one of you lovely ladies kindly make a note to do the April Roll call next month?  I might be rather busy (and barmy from sleep deprivation!!).

Cheers all

Ms C

DelilahDeb -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 3:53:35 AM)

Too true, it's March. (Here, at least, it's in like a lion, in traditional northern hemisphere fashion.)

Doing well, is the pleasant report from Oregon, Stateside. Communications here on CM have led me to an imminent meet-up with one dom friend, a handful of potential play partners [I'll see who picks up the RT ball I've tossed them all], and one quite significant RT sub. All of that packed into an exciting planned week. Occasional nerves punctuate delightful anticipation...fortunately local scene action, and the winding up of my mother's estate will help distract me from dwelling on it to the exclusion of sleep.

Oh, and meanwhile one pleasant young man on the third side of the world from either of us has fallen into an online pash, and handed me the reins of his sex life, willy-nilly. (That's what I get for breaking my own rule about cyber flirting! No excuse.) With a fait accompli, I determined to wean him slowly...and meanwhile he goes against my explicit orders on the subject, and I must chastise him (cut him off until Sunday). Pooh. Just as hard on me as it is on him...his availability at odd hours when the States are asleep is an attractive (or perhaps I should say propinquitous) extra, and here I am on a Saturday, just when I might have been flirting away, or even advising or conversing, with him after his work week. He thinks he's submitting...been waiting to see whether he gets around to looking outside himself enough to notice that he's not looking for a domme, he's looking for a do-me, with a chastity/orgasm control kink. Haven't yet heard word one about how he might serve me. But I knew that from the get-go; it is merely annoying to be right so often. (If he thinks outside his apologetic self sufficiently to find this posting, he may recognize himself and learn something. I'm prepared for that.) http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m26.gif

I look forward to being able to post some pleasant results from next week's travels on the Positive Experiences board when I return.

Thanks for the opportunity to vent.
Blessed be (the both of you),
Delilah Deb

LadyHathor -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 4:45:39 AM)

Hello My Darlings!

I am so excited MsC--I cannot wait for you to be parents----we want to hear all about it and of course, keep you both in our thoughts ( as you know My UM is 18 and adores new babies! LOL)

Life is good, I have overcome the obstacles at work, having a stellar year in a new department ( and ridding Myself of the witch of endor) and a surprise nice nice bonus!

The damn broke on the guilt about My mom with us and we are really peaceful, content and truly happy again.

The horses are well, have hired two new trainers and am thinking about showing, lol I always said no no no but I think I am going to do a few "old lady shows" this fall perhaps---

I am worried about the ability to have a garden, we have water restrictions, so am looking at rain barrels--for the gutters.

and I am still seeking, wondering if I will ever find the boy. But nice chatting with some here on CM, friends and the like and getting to know others I have admired from afar---

I will calendar the 4/1 roll call for you.

LadyEllen -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 5:04:58 AM)

My two kitties both look like theyre pregnant - my fault for not getting them done everyone says, but at the same time I'm pleased they'll each have the experience of being moms; and we have half of the anticipated kittens homed already too! From guesswork, they both should deliver at the end of this month/start of April. Lets hope they dont go into season too quickly afterwards!

Monday night I get to play with a friend - he requested it, which is nice - though I have this suspicion that really he just wants a peek at my new assets...... which are pretty much healed up now so I'm working on not having scars from the incisions.

Workwise its a nightmare - too much travelling, too much preparation for this exhibition in April and everything else on top; 60 hours a week isnt enough and it gets to me so I then spend time here, which eats into the 60 hours and has me working all night too to make up!

Good luck with your new arrival MsC!

E

SunNMoon -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 7:09:36 AM)

Early congratulations MsC.

Not much has been going on in my life. I just cut back hours from my part time job, so in total I'm only working 50 hours a week. My life has been taken over mostly by work of late, outside of that I've been trying to spend time with family.

LadyPact -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 7:10:00 AM)

Thanks, MsC, for starting up the roll call this month.  I'm sure one of us will be glad to get it going next month when you'll be busy with your new arrival.  Know that good thoughts are with you in anticipation.

Where to begin?  The past month was especially good to Me.  Why I have the people and things that exist in My life are beyond Me, most times.  I'm probably happier with My little poly family than I have ever been.  This is highly unusual for Me, being exceptionally light sensative, I'm almost always cursed with fighting depression in the winter months.  This year, I've had very little issue with it, and I'm very grateful for that.

I had a wonderful month through February, as most people who read the forums on a regular basis probably already know.  I've been working on the board of our small little lifestyle group here locally, which is both challenging and rewarding.  It's kept Me more active in the local community, which has been a great benefit.  I hope it will continue to be so when I'm dedicated to it for a year.

Let's see.  My highlights from the past month.  (Like people haven't heard this enough.)  I did My first branding on Valentine's Day.  This is something amazing if you are ever of the mind to do it.  In fact, I was so happy with the experience that an additional branding iron was crafted for Me by a good friend.  I'll be putting that to use very soon, hopefully with similar results.

I had a wonderful trip to Atlanta last week, to help celebrate Master Dave's retirement from the club that I frequent.  There's nothing like a weekend away to recharge the batteries.  It was a fantastic event, with a very special feeling to the night.  Certainly more than I expected, I can promise.  Dave has always been wonderful to us, and this time was certainly no exception.

My clip is doing quite well.  I'm reminded of how much he does for Me every time I step out My door now, since My flower bed was put in.  It makes Me smile every time I either leave or come home.  My husband's part in this was making sure that the supplies were on hand to care for the flowers, and to help keep them covered when the temperature drops.  (It still gets below freezing some nights in GA.)  I know they will be a source of enjoyment for a long time to come.

I hope everyone is well in their own little worlds.

Pyrrsefanie -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 7:22:10 AM)

Awww!  Congratulations, MsC!  Best wishes and good health to you and yours.

The Sunshine State is about to get a lot brighter for me, as my darling pet will be embarking on a not-so-perilous plane trip to spend a week with me.  It's been several months since I last saw him, and time is ticking down the days and weeks until the distance between us is closed.  I feel giddy!  Positively overwhelmed by how much I love that boy... sighhhh... oh yeah, I've got a good one.

My last day at my job was yesterday... it was bittersweet, as we really were one big family there, but in the end I know I've got bigger and better things, like higher education, to pursue at this point in my life.  We've had several employees come and go since I started working there, but I was the only one to warrant a going-away party, complete with cake, singing, and tearful hugs.  Kind of made me feel good.  Guilty... but good.  It was strange to see my office so completely empty as I was leaving.

Other than looking forward to actually being able to BREATHE now!!!.... not much here.

I hope that March is a lovely, lucky month for everyone~

xoxo

PsyVamp -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 8:40:15 AM)

10 more days to get ready !!!!  Congrats, good luck!

My new semester starts today at school, I actually have one more week before I need to start my work, but I've ordered the book I need so I should have it by the time I need it.

Today is my birthday and so far, the people in my house have done everything to make it a crappy day.  lol, figures.
Apparently, its my job to make them feel better about themselves on my birthday and they are all ticked off that I decided to shovel most of my block's sidewalk.
Hey, I LIKE to shovel, and so I did.

Anyway, other than going to school and working.. not much is going on.

MsCfromMelbourne -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 3:32:36 PM)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Lady Jag!!!!

Have a wonderful day.  You must have great arms and shoulders from all that shovelling......

PanthersMom -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 4:08:44 PM)

just dropped in to say best wishes to MsC and your mate on the new arrival! have a name picked out yet or are you waiting to see her first?  c-sections aren't all that bad, i was up and around in under 18 hours.   enjoy the lilone, they grow up way too fast.  the best part for me was those first few months as you watch them become a little person with a personality and sense of humor all their own.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: March Roll Call (3/1/2008 4:21:10 PM)

Congratulations, Ms C!  Happy Birthday, LadyJag!

How many weeks are left in the tax season?  Too many.....I got snookered into going on two audits, neither of which I am looking forward to.   I didn't do either tax return, and at least one of the clients has zero backup so he will get totally reamed.  Oh well!

My life is in reset mode right now, and I am still reconfiguring my path.  When my grandmother passed this summer, I thought everything would just magically go right, and of course I was hallucinating.  Luckily I am an introspective person, and I am determined to both catch up on having fun AND not do anything stupid.

Congrats on the little one.  I, like Lady Hathor, entered the pleasurable world of being a parent of an adult this year.  It is oh, so much more fun.  Graduation is LESS than three months away, and I plan on wearing something seriously hot!

My Lord and I are finding whole new appreciations for one another's sexual gratification, due in no small part to the many, many things we are learning from this site.  Thanks to all who have contributed.  Your words are well heard.

Too bad about your birthday.  It's happened to me, and it sucks.  You have my sympathy, but happy birthday anyway.

DelilahDeb: I am so jealous you are in Oregon.  I grew up there, and am now in Hellinois.  I see the warm weather on the news, and I wanna cry.  Maybe I'll get home again this year.

LadyEllen: Congrats...let us know how he likes them?

Let's hope the weather improves, at least here in the midwest.  A lack of snow would be good, no?

Thanks!
Arms and shoulders, sure... but my back will hate me for days.
;)

PsyVamp -> RE: March Roll Call (3/2/2008 6:16:58 AM)

Thanks for the wishes.
My little family pulled their collective heads out of their asses and behaved much better in the second half of the day.

Glad to hear you and your Lord are enjoying your journey!

Thank you LadyHibiscus, good luck with the audits (yuck)

Dear Ladies,

i don't see any of the boys here yet, and maybe out of place to respond, but i love the roll calls. Best wishes to MsC & Lady Hathor.

For me, well, finally got an appointment with my piercer to do the other two rungs of the frenum ladder in 2 weeks. And found One local that could be promising. The word now is be patient, not annoying.

EvilKitty -> RE: March Roll Call (3/2/2008 11:38:11 PM)

Congratulations on the impending start of sleep deprivation! Seriously, I hope all continues to go smoothly & on schedule. I'm looking forward to the posting of baby photos!
How can it be March already? I haven't played with anyone since, ummm...early February & am jonesing for a beating! I'm still trying to coax 1 boy out of his box & another into not being so afraid of me. I'm spending too much money on kinky clothes; now I need to find a sub who sews!!! At least, thank heavens!!! alllll the chocolate is gone now (hmmm...where could it have gone?)& maybe I can get my diet back to normal.

It is wonderful to see what you ladies shared.
My best wishes for happy moms, dads and new babies, happy Poly, and happy birthday.   [;)]

For me: Still have had medical issues that have put my projects, work and dreams on hold for now. I am just getting things done at home and spending a little time with friends.

Taking a break in CA,

Mmmm have all of the flower catalogs out. I don't know why I order them. I buy plants at the Market anyway.
Getting 8" of snow tonight. Snow is to deep to shovel. I have a small snowblower to do that with.
Trying to get tickets for an early Tigers game. They are selling out to fast.

any suggestions for a good quality catalog?  i'm not happy with the seeds from the local places.  i'm going to be puttering around, might as well be doing it outdoors!
