To Lady Pact: If you are in a group of leatherfolk who follow this tradition and you've been engaged, active and around for a while, my suspicion is it will happen. But if your group does not have a tradition of caps or sashes that are "spontaneously" awarded, you might find it rather difficult to earn your colors. What is the expectation in your community?
