She got institutionalized, has recently got out, I see her sometimes, like at the club, and she tries as hard as she can to pretend im not there, could be worse...

Institutionalized....Now that's a happy ending. I like that....In the future you might want to embellish the story with how she was so overcome with emotions and loss that she gutted herself using a toothbrush and spelled out your name with her intestines.

Just a thought. It's still a nice ending and it made me smile. Thanks.

i see Will Smith playing Asher in the movie version...and Juliette Lewis as Smokie the Bitch...

I was born in 1986, At the time I was conceived my mother was on acid and pot, and so was my dad... When I was born, my mom was on acid, and watching Gremlins.

My parents split up when mom quit doin drugs, I was 3 at the time, and went to live with my dad in Las Vegas... He started doing everything he could to alter reality, and in so doing became the weakest, worse example of a druggie I ever saw. He beat his girlfriend, and molested me repeatedly, all while high. He worked legally as a harley mechanic at a little shop in Vegas, and was actually a very good mechanic, until he started getting high at work, when he wasnt at work, he ran drugs for the Hell's Angels... Because of that, and because he was never really coherant enough to notice where I was, I spent a lot of time at the houses of one or more of them... I considered them my family, called them uncle, they made sure that I was fed and had essentials, so I survived.
When I was 7 I moved back in with my mom and her new husband in Salt Lake City, UT... He ws from Germany and worked as an auto mechanic. He believed very strongly in disipline, and hated my father worse than I did. We didnt get along all that well, mainly because I had become frightened of any male that tried to be a "father" figure. He was a good man, but not good for my mom, so they broke up when I was 12...

Asher, stay away from Auto/Motorcycle Mechanics and druggies! [:)] [8|]

what the heck has that to do with asher???

Nothing but then again everything...If Asher can't save the kid he will have to endure being run over again and again.

It's all so simple...It's like everything became crystalized and the clarity of what must be done was so evident that it could never be disputed.

I grew up.. pretty nice folks and went to college...Then I found CM. I feel cheated.

thank you domi, that actually made sense

Late in coming, but it had to be said

Will Smith would either break out in song too much, or not enough for me... I say Peter Steele should play me if anyone does, (Just because I wish I had his abs... yummy) other good candidates would be Daniel Jhons (if he died his hair, and ate something once in a while) and James Woods (cause that would be cool)

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:26:35 AM)

come on now.. you dont want Ben Aflack to play you?

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:31:16 AM)

No, ben affleck and matt damon are in EVERYTHING!!!

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:34:51 AM)

ok ok... we will get Gary Senice to grow some hair.

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:35:59 AM)

Or we could get the guy that played the comic book geek in Mall Rats to do it :P

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:38:26 AM)

the fat guy standing in line to meet Stan Lee? [:D]

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:40:29 AM)

Not him, the assholish guy, cant remember his name.... hold on, lemme look it up

There we go Jason Lee, he played Brody (IMDB rocks!)

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:45:24 AM)

I knew who you ment... once again my sarcasm does not translate well through text...

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:49:31 AM)

Sorry, its almost 7am, ive been up since 3pm so there :P

Now im gonna watch that movie when I get home...

EDIT TO ADD

I think my biggest worry about any movie made about my life would have to be that they would take it too seriously, I hate movies that make people all weepy with no humor, and, in the end, life is hilarious!

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:53:49 AM)

it is a good movie...

ya know there are alot of black and white photos on this thread...

did you read my story? I know it fiction, and probably not as interesting as yours but its still decent in my opinion. http://www.collarchat.com/m_1826521/tm.htm I reposted it, as of right now its the last post read that one, minor revisions.

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:55:38 AM)

yeah, I read it, and liked it...the only thing any story of mine had going for it was sex....

I look ugly in color :P

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:56:40 AM)

hell I am ugly either way...

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:57:57 AM)

I dont know..... You have a fair amount of women who find you to be very attractive, that has to say something

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 5:58:54 AM)

as do you...

Asherdelampyr -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 6:00:30 AM)

Nahhh, nobody actually remembers who I am... :P

Phin -> RE: The Story Of Asher (5/1/2008 6:03:11 AM)
