ok all at some point in your lives you had to make the decison to become a sub/dom Master/Slave whatever ur preferences, so how did u go about finding one that would teach you what this lovely new world had to offer?

I was fortunate that my best friend was a Domme, though she hadn't told me. I happened to mention something I'd seen on the internet and that's how I found out she already was what I was interested in becoming. It was easy for me because my friend became my mentor and I have her to thank for who I am today.

i didn't find ONE...i sought out the advice of as many people in BDSM as pssible. Whatever their orientation, or role. I read books, went online, that was before Google...(i remember a lot of Asking Jeeves)...joined chatrooms, made friends. Thank God i didn't try to get a Dom right away...who KNOWS what might have happened....

I just checked the box Other & all of the above and went ahead with my jouney .For the most part i use the green eggs and ham theory , how do you know you dont like it if you dont try it few a few exceptions of course .Like i know i dont need to experiance barn yard luvin lol

hmmm... I didn't decide to become a Domina. I was and found out later what it was that I was. I kept on educating Myself by reading, and finding out good sites with intelligent people on.

Akasha and Diana Vesta are two ladies I learned and still learn a lot from. But I take what others do and adapt it to Myself.

I guess the way to go is to get info. It takes time, and then you have to assimilate, but if you're serious about it and Ds is really a part of you, then you really must do it.

i didn't decide to become submissive. i just was. And, i didn't find someone to teach me about BDSM. He found me and showed me how wonderful i could feel, if i let go and let him take over. i was living it and loving it, long before i knew what it was called. The only decision i made was to accept that this is who i am and this is how i want to live.

I didn't go looking for a dominant. I went looking for a bondage top who would first be a good friend, who was a person with matching moral values, and who appealed to me. Since the type of men who always appeal to me are dominant, that's what I ended up with. But it didn't start as d/s on day one, since I didn't know enough about him then to decide if he was trustworthy enough for that. It came slowly, bit at a time, and has continued to slowly deepen over years.

i really didn't have anyone to show me, per se, i had a couple casual play partners. But wasn't "shown the ropes", no pun intended

. Until i met my Dom a year ago, and he introduced me more and more to the lifestyle and i went from there.

A goof friend of mine, who happens to be a D type and he saw the interest inside me before I was ready to acknowlegde it myself. Through conversation and giving me glimpses into the world of BDSM, he fed that curiosity knowing that I'd be asking questions left right and center! He suggested books to read, I read and explored and the reast they say is history!
