Or, find someone with an access to a Popeyes restaurant, and a molecular transporter, and have them zap  you some of their biscuits.....

yeah... Popeye's is the way to go... KFC biscuits aren't too bad either.

Somebody forgot to tell you...
The secret is in the gravy, darling... NOT the biscuit.

nooo!

biscuits are easy.  its flour, shortening, salt, baking soda, and milk.
for shortening you can use butter, margerine (not as good), or vegetable shortening.

so.
take some flour.  white lilly flour is good.  add a little salt, baking soda, and maybe a little sugar.  mix it up.
put in the nice cold butter.  cut the butter into the flour with a pastry thing, two knives, or two forks.  work it until the flour looks like lumpy corn meal.
bunch up the stuff.  if it holds together pretty well, add a little milk.. if it doesnt hold together well, add more milk.  keep going with the milk and bunching until you can pat the dough into a ball
On waxed paper or a floured board, pat out the dough to about an inch thick.  thicker if you want.
cut the dough into biscuit shapes.  put on a baking sheet and bake.  if you want you can add more milk and drop the batter from a spoon onto the baking sheet.
easy.

there's a sweetish scone (biscuit recipe) somewhere here in cyberspace.

it's basically, flour, cream and lemonade (which, over here is like 7-up)

i'll find it if anyone's interested. very light and fluffy
