you may recall a post about cheaper dental work. will here is globalization in practice. an Ohio woman gets dental bridge and gets sick to to its lead content- since it is made in..... a place other then America.


i knew i did not want a foreign object in MY precious virgin mouth!!  glumk-y-glunk

Damn outsourcing. Not only are hard working Americans losing their jobs to foreign countries, we are also being poisoned by them. Maybe if some high ranking political official (someone considered important) gets poisoned, something will be done.

You do know that tooth fillings contain mercury? They have for decades.

and this is why I go to a dentist who does only the porcelain style fillings and crowns. No metal at all, matches your tooth enamel... and you wont get bloody posioned.

They cost a bit more... but it is well worth it.

they dont last more than 20 years or so, though.  i have one that was done when i was 14 and it REALLY needs replacing.  part of it has crumbled, and the rest of it is discolored badly.

Yeah, but I bet those lead pipes are only half the bore they started out as, what with all the slime in the water. And if you live in a hard water area, calcium builds up on the sides of the pipe, and in your kettle.

My metal fillings made me sick for sure. And I didnt go to China to have my teeth filled.
