I have a question. From what I've heard about collaring ceremonies, the one being collared is told to kneel and the one collaring them asks if they will obey and serve. If the one kneeling agrees, a collar is placed around his/her neck. How is this traditionally done if both people are switches? Does one collar the other or do both collar each other?

Honestly, a collaring ceremony is whatever you want it to be. 
Write your own words, to fit your own dynamic.
One could kneel and the other could say "Do you promise to serve and obey when it is your turn to be submissive?"

I agree it can be what ever you want it to be .. the Switches I know usually collar each other... and make the vows however they want them to be ... so make it yours and enjoy !

I dont think there is a rule in any collareing thing, its a personal thing isnt it so you just do it how you want to and make it special to you :D

its not like its a legally binding service... the 2 partners can write what the feel and make the ceramony there own. the ceromony is about those involved.

I think it would be cool for switches if each one of them in turn kneels and begs a collar.  Course who kneels first would have to be decided by a knife fight and proper healing up after time before a date is set.

Is DBG gonna get her some?

How do two vanillas get married?

Many traditions have both kneel towards their united higher power.

The question is, are you committing to eachother or collaring eachother?  If you are committing to eachother, then do whatever commitment ceremony makes you happy.  If you are collaring eachother, then take turns or do it simultaneously like married couples drinking champagne or eating cake together as a symbol of their unity.

Or flip a coin.

Really the ritual/ceremony is what you want it to be.
