When I was in my late teens to early twenties I suffered from Bulimia. I was totally dependant/addicted to laxatives. "Things" wouldn't work unless I took laxatives. They are for me what a drink is to an alcoholic, even now I can't even have them in the house. (and no, I won't say what I took, how many I took or how often, am not "helping" someone) A few years back I was collared to a man who knew my past, but loved giving enemas. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, yeah I was wrong. It took me a long time to get things under control and back to being healthy. At least for me a laxative is a laxative is a laxative, no matter how it's given, who gives it or what form it is in. If you have an eating disorder, it's not the physical act that is the problem, it is the mental that is the bigger problem. I'm purging out the evil food. If that makes sense. It doesn't matter how the laxative is given, the effect is still the same.
