i just realized when you type your screen name on google there is a dirrect link to your profile on collarme..... does anybody know how to disable this? i prefer t be anonoymous personally

I'm gonna have to go with domahpet on this one. If you're not ready to be "out", don't post. Even if you somehow managed to magically disable it on Google (good luck with that one, you might try fairy dust) SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE will find you if they're looking hard enough.

Edited to add: If the person searching already has your cm name, chances are they didn't need Google to find your profile.

Just only use your screenname for this particular place. If you use the same name as you use for other things...well....you already outed yourself.

If you are on the net, you will be found. If you use a screen name that you use on other sites, and you don't want people from those site to know you're on a BDSM site, I'd suggest not doing that [smile].

If you are intentionally vague about details in your profile (off-the-wall city name, etc.), a casual reading of it is not going to give someone ammunition to use against you for whatever reason. That's one reason it's not a good idea to use your real name as your screen name (which I see you haven't).

sevmenc, with a furry picture and a 25 year old dominant from Pittburg, he is so 'out' there is only the one sevmenc in the phonebook, picture is better than a 7-11 robbery caught on camera, philly is at the end of the road, easy enough to track down out of about 50,000 25-34 year olds, figuring about 50% white we are down to only one of   25,000 better than winning the lottery I suppose but you just aint interesting enough for me to do the footwork, slick.

You can't opt out of this yourself. Collarme/collarchat has the ability to limit google's index via the robots.txt file, but for some reason they have chosen not to.
