i thought ill start this subject ( i dunno if it has been done before, more then likley). When entertaining / exploring / and experimenting your desires. What is your must haves ?! Ie toys, Equipment so on and so foruth. I my self must have gags restraints and rope lots and lots of rope. the reason i ask, just gives me ideas sometimes i get a bit hmm blinded to other possibilities... Enjoy ^^

I must have a partner who makes me see God ...peripherals? No absolute must-haves. I do appreciate a good set of padded leather cuffs and a small variety of gags, strong chain, rope with a smooth surface...but don't need them.

Hmm, must haves for experimenting, other than a creative mind... well, clothespins (clothespegs) have a variety of uses. Scarves are pretty, sometimes inexpensive, and make good restraints (just don't tie them too tightly). Wooden spoons are good and nearly everyone has one in their kitchen.

Now see, I think you actually need at least 2 "devious minds". Having those, a walk through 'Home Depot' or even the 'Dollar Store' take on new meaning. One mind things of what he/she will buy, and how to use it while the other considers how it will be used on them and how it will feel. Sometimes you don't even have to buy stuff. Picking up a pair of heavy vice pliers and raising an eyebrow while looking over at beth has a great effect. Sometime we forget that we originally went to the store in the first place. We aren't a good source of information regarding "essentials". We have a dungeon full of stuff that we've collected over the years. Some lifestyle designed many, such things as back-scratchers, coffee stirrers from Balagio (GREAT tiny wooden paddles that you can 'flick' with 'lethal' accuracy) just picked up along the way as a result of holding them and raising an eyebrow. All used, none however "essential"; except each other of course.

The only absolute must have I have is a sense of humor. Toys or lack thereof can be overcome easily, but if osmeone is boring as a rock I will not be bothered with them long enough to get creative with playtime. PREFERENCE of course, toward either a nice lenght of cotton rope, a decent set of cuffs and/or a handkerchief. The Hanky has a multitude of uses, from blindfold to gag to makeshft hand binding... you name it. DV

I tend to agree with others that have stated the mind is the most important part. To take a MacGyver type person would be the most exciting person that would ever engage in the art of exploring desires of the darker shade of pale. Taking any item and figuring out a deviant or perverted or sensual way of using it, as has been mention look at every thing in a manner of how would I use that or how would I like that used on me. On the other side there are really only two basic acts one is touch stimulation the other is mental stimulation all tools affect one or the other or both, so all tools/toys are not as important as how you want them to affect the use.

For me I would have to say that a must have would be.... first and foremost...my Mistress,my wrist cuffs, and a nice heavy flogger. I cant fully speak for my Mistress but the things that She has said to me that She must have that I am aware of is paddles, and floggers. Which I Love![:D]

I got to thinking about this one , and i have to agree no matter what the role a partner is the best have item , someone compatable ,fun,safe ,trustworthy .Followed by the desire to keep growing and expanding .Maybe i have this line of thinking due to me having most every tool /toy out there already .Yet you can not buy a bdsm companion at Lowes or the dollar store .If they start stocking them in some kink section i dont know about please lemmie know .

I'd have to agree - especially of late since I've had so much trouble in finding a suitable female. Finding that toy isn't that difficult just hit google. But, I've yet to find google helpful in locating a good match in the sub department. If someone can figure out the correct way to enter it into google to have one pop up........please by all means let me know!

Seems as though this tread has taken a wrong turn. I think the willing partner was part of the parameters of this question. I really don't have to have toys to have fun but when I want to take her far into subspace I first use my voice to take her to a dark warm setting then I will want my leather cuffs, I make them and sell them, some chain a nice canopy bed to tie her too. I love floggers but also feather dusters, I love paddles but love my hand spanking her even more, I think you may be getting the idea.

It all depends on the scene that I want to have for the night. I must have my flogger and a good pair of hand cuffs, Blindfolds in the form of sleep mask. I like to have my crop however the best thing I really need is my imagination and my two good hands and her consent......Flyswatter.......preferable with out the bugs.....[:D]
