I’m reminder of a situation I read about some years ago where in Iceland apparently they have two State Religions ~ One Christian and the other Pagan. It seems that the Government had approved a large sum of money so the Christian community could rebuild their leading Cathedral. It also seems that the Pagan High Priest attended a meeting with the Prime Minister and his Finance Minister, both whom refused an equal allocation of funds to remodify the main Temple. It was reported that in anger the High Priest raised his fist to the sky and called on Thor for retribution. Lightening strikes occurred almost immediately and blacked out the capital city. Ergo the Government immediately approved the requested funds.
Some of my sources I have found most believable with one of them being one of the Pagan Leaders. Still lets just say, strange things happen and it doesn’t always pay to annoy some things especially when you don’t have a good understanding of them… A bit like turning final year high school physics students into a nuclear laboratory with no supervision.
