I just wanted to know if the Dommes on this site get this kind of thing....I breifly emailed back and forth with a guy that claimed to be a submissive and he seemed nice enough so I gave him my yahoo name. He said 'Hello Goddess' and I said hello...than he says 'Got cam?" I said no and his response was "Message me when you get a cam. Bye" and then went offline. Now what the hell is the point of that????? Going through all that trouble to be nice and polite only for that crap? If all he wanted was someone to be a slut on a camera shouldn't he have said so in the first place anyways?

I have to interject some reality here. The number of men with female profiles -- and especially Domme profiles -- is enormous. Women and men talk differently -- different mannerisms, ask different questions, emphasize different topics. I can certainly understand some guy being scammed 900 times deciding that he wouldn't talk to a female profile without proof there was a woman behind it. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with wanking. (Actually, I take that back. A lot of men set up lesbian profiles to pic-hunt women. I've talked to gay and bi women who insist on webcam before sharing pics for just that reason.) Actually, when I was looking, part of the reason I didn't ask to cam was that I wanted to see, on the first meet, if the woman looked like her photo, and if her weight was consistent with the weight in her profile. That would give me a measure of her level of honesty. Everyone I met was, indeed, honest -- but I had to Ignore a lot of "women" to set up those dates.

I understand what you are saying on wanting someone to be real but I have to disagree on the fact that I think it is very shallow to ask someone for cam in the first sentence or two of a conversation and even more shallow to say goodbye before even having a real conversation. To me it shows real imaturity and I also find it rude. To me it means the person has no interest in me as a person at all, only in what I look like or for them to have an image to masturbate to. Actually I do have a camera that I can use to take pics and then have them go onto the computer via wire but he didin't stick around long enough to even hear that.

I can understand that Magic. More than a few men have told me that they have been burned by a man who has a "womans" profile. On the other hand, some women DO use photo's of other, porn star type women, then have to refuse cam because they'll get found out. I don't know why people bother, as it's going to come out in the end anyway. Except for the wankers, who never had any intention of meeting anyway, but they get a few quick thrills. OP, There are dickheads everywhere. If you are going to talk to the guy in chat, just tell them straight up that YOU want to see THEIR cam to verify who they are. Then, if it goes well and you're happy, you can get a cam and live happily ever after. Just remember, tit and bum shots are up to you, not to them. Don't feel pressured into anything until you're ready. You lost a little time with this guy. It could have been a lot worse.

I am cam-free, and there are a very few cams that I will view willingly. If they can't tell that I am a female, oh well! Of course, I also don't respond to those who address me as Goddess or similar, since I am not any of those things, and I know that they are just going to waste my time! (yeah, those years of experience were bound to pay off somehow![:)]) As an odd aside, one of our Michigan charmers wrote me asking if I had any photos that were not photoshopped! Um, NO. I got a big laugh out of the insinuation---if I was going to shop my picture (and the bg IS color enhanced) don't you think I would have made myself PRETTIER? jeez, the negative brain scans on some of these people....

LOL!!! oh man! I get that too!!! You're lucky he didn't started telling how you were a man in hidding! Or that your were a fake because you wouldn't show yourself.... Pleasant things like that. I never show Myself on cam (well, not NEVER but very rarelly) and NEVER EVER to someone I,ve just met. So yeah, I get that sort of things every once in while... I never start Dominating someone strait away. I have a certain time period when I get to know the person, get to see what he's looking for, if he's a flake or not. I don't have a cam that you can view me in real time I do have a camera that I can take pictures with and download to my computer and upload to the internet and I do so often. My pictures are also date stamped, if a picture is date stamped and it is a recent date I do not see a reason to think this person isn't who they say they are. Of course some people will still find away around it but I am also a trusting person to an extent. Also after you get to know someone you can always use the voice capabilities of Yahoo messenger and talk over the internet in my experience men and women do not sound alike at all but I could be wrong.[:D]
