now this will sound silly but when Master is going away i always want his shirt because i want to wear it..

now is that silly and Master gives it to me knowing i will wash it press it and return it later ..

its just then i ahve something of his to wear that night makes me feel more secure and it smells of him and i like it..

so do you ahve something silly you di that reminds you of your owner when seperated apart from collar ..

Status: offline 		No this is not silly. A former slavegirl of Me had the same feelings. she wanted my slip and went to bed with it when I was not there, just for the smell she said to Me.

Status: offline 		You should do a search for topics about sub drop and long distance relationships. Ideas like this and other good ones are excellent for dealing with separations.

Status: offline 		I also wear my Master's shirt when I'm away from Him. It makes me feel like he is next to me, and I guess it because it smells like Him. It has to be a dress shirt, the ones that button down. I pick one out when I go to see Him, and then wear it when I'm there, and bring it back home with me.
I don't think it is silly, its something that helps when there is a distance between Master and yourself.

Status: offline 		No that is not silly at all i always love to sleep in my Masters shirt i love his scent it makes me feel all safe and cozy especially when we are cuddling in bed or when i am around the house

When I have topped I have had women ask for my shirt to wear after I am gone. As a bottom, one Domme sent me home shirtless (thankfully in summer). And I had a vanilla girl I dated that I never got back two old faded work shirts from. Oddly I always get them back from the lifestyle girls.

So I think being wrapped in a reminder of a partner, especially when it holds some of their smell, is a powerful thing. And as said above could help with situations from sub drop to lang distance relationships. Its NOT silly as long as it means something to you.

As for me, I am too big to wear most of my partners shirts LoL, but I did drive home the morning after a scene with a womans panties tied around my scrotum. It was certainly a reminder, if not in the ame catagory you were talking about.

I don't think it's silly at all. Since Master had to go back over the road, and is now gone twelve days and home just two, I spend a lot of lonely nights. To help me get through them, He commanded that I spritz His pillow with His cologne (the only scent He ever wears, which I gave to him years ago) each night before going to bed. Also, He emails me from His truck each evening, to let me know where He is and to give me whatever instructions He might have for me for the next day. Sometimes He'll send me a "thinking of you" card from someplace He's been, and sometimes I'll tuck a "miss you" card into His clothes or groceries for Him to find after He's left. Maintaining that connection is important to us.

Status: offline 		I have some special "toys" that are in my possession. They aren't sex toys! But they are special and filled with meaning for me. I like to have mementos, so it means a lot to me that I have a few things so I can recall our fun times!

Status: offline 		LGsalve, this is not silly in the slightest. It not only applies here but to a lot of various relationships. Having a possesion that you can hold close while you are apart is soothing in many degrees. It helps to keep the mind focused, eases the emotions that long time spans can leave us with and serves of a constant reminder that we belong to that someone.
Along these sames line, scent is a very powerful tool. It lends to the imagery in your mind, helping you to recall certain feelings, certain tasks or lessons. It can also arouse ( pumpkin and lavender scents are known to have this effect on men) and soothe ( vanilla, euculyptse, jasmine and mint). Now how can such wonderful vibes be silly? *wink*

the part of the brain that senses smells is very near to that part that contains memories. i've not only done as you've done with my man's shirt, but i have some vanity artcles that were my late grandmother's that still have her scent on them; whenever i take them out and smell them, wonderful memories of her coming rushing back to me right off.

Status: offline 		When I was with MsN this summer she gave me one of Her leather vests. I love when I wear it because it smells of Her.
I know I am wearing something she loved and wore quite often.
It does give me a sense of security when I am away from Her.

We also snail mail each other special things, to help us feel connected.

Status: offline 		I think it's wonderful. I am wearing one of my Master's shirts right now. Well, it is mine as he bought it specifically for me. But he wore it for me so that I could smell him when we can't be together. I find it comforting and it keeps me warm when he isn't next to me.

i am sure,..all of you folks are happy doing this,..and it is ..i guess..a reasonable thing. hell,..if it feels good do it........

it is just something "I" have nothing to do with.

but then,..hell.."I" am not into "connections"......i merely serve JUST TO BE IN SERVICE...

but its strictly only a me thing..
