Well, I think Hillary wants to be on the ticket, but I think that would be the worst decision that Obama would make to add her. Obama has enough cross-over votes and does not inspire Rethuglican animosity the way Hillary does, whereas adding her to the ticket regalvanizes the right to turn out in droves to vote against her. Leaving her off the ticket, Republicans will stay home and not bother to vote, allowing major sweeps from the local to the federal level.
The problem with letting the right keep power is their psychotic insistence on putting all their eggs in the basket of non-issues or insane issues, like the Iraq nonsense, gay marraige, illegal immigration, etc., and not spending any time or effort actually rebuilding bridges, dams, ports, levees, jobs, the economy, international relationships, etc.
The only part of the brain that the right seems capable of using is their adrenal gland. Why fix a dam prior to it killing thousands of people when you can race in after it goes tango uniform, screw up the rescue effort, and stick toothless survivors on a fixed income with small business loans to rebuild their lives?
